Left 4 Dead is pretty good.

SO is Halo in factI didnt enjoy that game single player at all really (Im talking about Halo 3) but in Co op I loved it.

My vote goes to Gauntlet. Easily one of the best coop games out there, however the core gameplay does need a huge overhaul. It's like a locally played MMO.

You don't know what you're talking about if you don't include the Halo or Gears of War franchises. They, in my opinion, have helped bring back the Co-op experience whereas before it was mostly forgotten and left to Arcades.AncientDozer

I'll give the credit to the Timesplitters series over Gears of War, but Halo attracted alot of new gamers who have never played anything before the Xbox, and started a new generation of idiots
