Why would anyone want to abolish games that sell well from the market though?
I may not like all major series but I don't want them to stop being made and decline game sales hence slowing down the advancement of the gaming industry.
I don't like the Need for Speed series and I can't stand Dynasty Warriors. I don't want them to stop being made though.
2d Mario(You can only buy so many remakes that are too similar for the GBA/DS) Sonic(unless they want to do a real sonic in 2d for the PSP) Medal of Honor(Its too arcadey)
WW2 games? Why? Sure theres some pretty bad WW2 games like CoD3/2 that nothing new, theres great WW2 games coming out like CoH, and I would love a game like Red Orchestra, except with a better engine and a little more to it. We need more better WW2 games, the last great WW2 shooter was CoD, and the last new WW2 shooter was BIA, those are 3 year old games. What we need is better, more original WW2 shooters.

Specially if you don't know what series might pull a RE4-make. Exactly, people always assume that a series will always go the "tried-and-true" route then BLAM!
Halo, Devil May Cry, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty and Need for Speed (notice how 3 of those franchises are made by EA). Rehashing games that sucked in the beginning is getting lame. Also Battlefield is getting rehashed a lot too.
