Top PS3 graphics vs XBOX360 graphics

 Completely limited to gameplay, because now screenshots do games' graphics justice and represent the actual game, also work in progress also represent the final game because devs are completely incapable of polishing games.

MGS screens are very old, and the Lair ones you posted do the game no justice. Watch the vids damnit.E_x_i_l_e

 Only gameplay footage ever shown, everything else are trailers. And what Lair videos? the ones on GS look worse than those pics, gameplay movies that is.

 I didn't know Halo 2 looked better than PS3 games, seriously it just amazes me the power of the old xbox.

I mean watch the Lair videos, like the Developer Walkthroughs, like on Game Trailers. Also, Halo 2 looking better than PS3 games? Or any next gen game aside from the Wii (Not trying to bash it) You've gotta be kidding me.

The only thign I can say without being a fanboy is that you are comparing multiplayer to single player. That may not be the best thing to do. Yes, I know there are no screens of the Halo campaign besides the E3 trailer, which people don't like showing....

Sigh I give up. That lair pic is in game, not a trailer, but in game playable demo. MGS4, that pic was also in the playable demo, at gdc 06. I didn't make this up, but this is true. I am not going to bother to why you are argueing with me here, when you are wrong.

lol did anyone read the thread name. TOP ps3 graphics versus XBOX360 graphics (he said top for ps3 but not top for xbox 360). So he takes one of the biggest budget games for ps3, then he takes a beta version of a game....Take some pictures of Gears then compare.

This Lair pic is Fake, watch the videos, the lighting looks nothing like this

Also the MGS4 one is off screen, in real pics has washed out terrible look

Lair and MGS4 aren't even out yet. And MGS4 doesn't even look that good anyway.

Comparing games pre release is stupid. Things can change for better or worse.

Also the baove Drake pics are 1000% fakes and CGI, sorry but the new pics look like ... 1.000 times worst than those, are blurry, have 1/10 the textures resolution and AA, the lighting is far worst etc etc

they actually stopped the  hero, and turned the camera around etc so it is 100% for real, they just need
to add those shaders etc to the actual game, which probably are doing as we speak, of course since they are not ready

Btw, all the screens shown look phenomenal.  I'm lovin it. 

First of all, both Lair and Halo 3 are in alpha, actually Lair is in alpha and Halo is in beta that we've seen so far, Lair to me looks better, but the game is 100% different and should not be compared.

What Kojima showed us thus far with MGS4 is all in game, Kojima never shows CGI demonstrations to show off their games, but in game engine... so whatever you see is what the actual game will look like. Remember MGS2 for PS2? Everyone thought at that time that the videos shown at E3 were all CGI, but it was indeed in game.

I personally think that Ratchet and Clank, Lair, and MGS4 are the most impressive next gen console games techinically to come out in the near future. Not only in still pictures, but in motion these games aren't beatable right now IN MY OPINION.

You can't realy compare single player graphics too multi-player you need more processing power too run a multiplayer component then a single player.

No doubt Halo 3's single player will look better then its multi counterpart.

One thing I noticed is that when ppl talk about Lair's graphics on GM SW forums they always use crappy stretched IGN pics to show off the game.
