a bit suprised to see platinum on there, not super suprised though, I just figured it wouldve been knocked off by Borderlands or Assassins Creed 2 or something.

Its really sad to see the top selling games are a bunch of complete and uter garbage. Not one game(if you can even call most of those games) listed there other than MW2 is even worth renting. Nintendo has destroyed the gaming industry with there crap while excellent games suffer. I dont know how any one who bought any of those titles can call themselves gamers(other than MW2). Edit: ODST, i did not see that one. I just rented it and will see if its any good.djsifer01

Not really. Its not sad that despite Demon Souls winning GOTY I still do not care to play it and would rather play my kiddy games. My maturity and the maturity of those playing these kiddy games and getting in shape are not bruised because you wish some games you like were doing better. We don;t really care. Honestly, the only thing sad here is the superiority complex you are showing.

Oh...so even though platformers have been around much longer than first-person shooters, according to you, a person is only a gamer if they play first-person shooters.

That is a load of drivel. NSMB is classic gameplay that is, most importantly, fun. Don't like it? Too bad. Cope.

But seriously, Nintendo were the ones who revived video gaming with Mario, and made it popular amongst those like you who call themselves 'hardcore gamers'. Give credit where it is due. Now they are extending even further then that to bring non-gamers and casuals to gaming, giving it more life. You say they destroyed gaming? How? They made the industry grow exponentially, with the other two following suit with their motion controls, which is likely to bring in even more non-gamers. How could you possibly think they're destroying gaming?
