DSOGaming Reports:
At AMD's recent event, it was confirmed that Total War: Warhammer will support DX12. The DX12 demo for Total War: Warhammer showcased 10,000 characters at once on screen.

Total War: Warhammer was delayed to May 24th and The Creative Assembly recommended – a while back – an AMD Fury X for 60 FPS+ on campaign map and in a 1v1, 20 units vs 20 units battle, and default graphics preset set to “Ultra”.
It will be interesting to see how much the game will benefit from this new API. A strategy game like Total War: Warhammer is ideal for showcasing Microsoft’s latest API, so we can’t wait to see the performance differences between DX11 and DX12.

It's been a long time coming but this is a fantastic news. A franchise like Total War can really benefit from utilizing DX12. If coded correctly, this can resolve the issue of these games not using more than single core.
