Ok there's nothing worse than gettingrid of something you like only to regret it later. Hopefully I can convince you that trading in a console is not even a last resort for you to save up for a new one.
I and my bro used to trade and sell games to get the next gen equiptment. Originally it was a Sega Megadrive/Genesis, I immediately missed sonic and a little tike but the void was soon filled by mario in full 3D!!!! :o Unfortunately, after that AND a glorious run on the PS1 the PS2 was released and inticed us into trading our 2 excellent consoles and half the games in for the shiny new ps2 with 2 games. This was worse than the first time, like prostitution ( don't ask I just know, alright!) , Smash Bros and Mario Kart gone forever  but Max Payne and many other titles amuzed me still.
Years went by like this until HD gaming took ahold of my gaming taste and lured me into the world of the 360, I kept my PS2 slim knowing full well what a trade in would do to my huge collection. This wasn't enough, I got a PS3 2 years later by trading in my great 360 and all the brilliant games, by then my bro already bought and sold a gamecube, allowing me a taste of Melee only to be snatched away and sent to Gary in Marlowe over ebay for a poltry 14 pounds  Oh no the drama doesn't end there, a DS Lite came and departed to leave roon for another 360, back where I started. My PSP was also long gone, only to reappear as a 2000 after my Gaming PC which is the only system I've had never considered for sale.
Alas an N64, PSP 2000, 360, PS3, Gaming PC are now in my posesstionbut it could of all happened a lot quicker if it weren't for trading in my games.
"A 360 is not just for Christmas, it's for life!"
