Trailers for games that told you categorically 'don't play this crap under any circumstances'.

I realise completely that trailers don't paint the full picture, it's bad enough for movies but even worse for games, yet some trailers have just told me straight up do not play this, ever.

My example is going to be Days Gone. Every trailer I've seen you have this intellectually challenged (I'm trying to be diplomatic here) dude wearing completely ridiculous clothes gunning down what looks like hundreds of random zombies that just poured out of a cleverly hidden out of sight zombie dispenser so he can shoot them.

****. That. Shit.

The trailer tells me that the people making the game realise zombie games are totally last year and are a joke and a cliche but haha we're doing it anyway with a complete asshat as main character. **** off (not you, them).

So yeah... which games did you know beyond ALL doubt were shit on a stick without even playing them based on a trailer (or anything else you care to mention)?

Yeah, Days Gone looks like crap. Any Call of Duty trailer makes them look like crap. There's just a lot of crap trailers for (probably) crap games.

None; because I hate the nature of trailers for games anyway.

It's usually demos n actual gameplay footage that turns me off trying the game.

Slightly offside,crowbats vid of deadrisng 1 vs deadrising 4 told me all i need to know about the new game.

Weab stuff

Watch Dogs 2 trailers showed me all I need to know about the game: gameplay is the exact same as Watch Dogs 1, but it has some prettier graphics.

The original Ryse trailers, which showed the kinect gameplay, also put me off the game for a very long time, before finally trying it.

This brought my cancer back.

After watching No Man's Sky's trailer. I already know what'll I get from playing it. And it's a big N and O.

@anthonyautumns: Yeah that was sickening. I had no interest in NMS from the get go. Collecting resources and surviving being the main point in a game never keeps my interest.

No Man's Sky. Every trailer that I have seen from the game didn't show me what the game was really like. I'm glad that I trusted my gut.

I gotta agree with No Man's Sky. I just wondered the whole time what the hell other people saw/knew that I didn't. I guess they just listened to the guy promoting his game.. lol.

I hate pretty much all trailers that don't show any gameplay. I want to see the game, not some BS CGI crap.
