True hardcore gamers say Blazblue and SFIV are broken games

Guy says both games are broken and only true hardcore fans wont rly like it. and that doa only got popular becuase of its women. :P anyone agree with this :question:

I dont really take heed to a person's opinion when they labeled themselves proudly as a 'Hardcore' gamer.

I play what I like...

calling yourself a hardcore gamer is calling yourself a loser. if you choose to label yourself 'hardcore' anything at all, you really need help. video games are one of the last things you should really try to be 'hardcore' about. if you want to be 'hardcore', be that way about something worth a damn like your job, your family, or whatever. these 'hardcore gamers', especially self proclaimed ones, are just straight losers

A hardcore gamer isn't even in the same league as a hardcore fighting fanatic. None of the pro's at EVO were mentioning anything broken or gameplay negative about SFIV. BlazBlue hasn't been out long enough in the states for me to view any real opinions yet.

True hardcore gamers play the games and form their own opinions of them, without concern for being called casual for having their own preferences.

Calling your self a "hardcore gamer" is pretentious. Calling yourself a "true hardcore gamer" is hilarious. Seriously, howmuch in love with your self would you have to be to call yourself a "true hardcore" anything?

I just saw the video, and I think they just don't know what they're talking about. Its a fighting game for god sakes, if they have that much experience in the genre, they would know that characters are supposed to be diverse in a game. They're saying Zangief is cheap, but in case you don't know playing a gief you're supposed to capitalize on his biggest disadvantage: SPEED. I don't know what their problem is, but I beat Zangiefs all the time.

And the thing where they can't land Akuma's ultra, they're simply absurd. Being the highest damaging ultra in the game you can't always expect your opponent to fall for it you know. Just like any other ultras in the game, you have to SET UP YOUR OPPONENT for it.

Broken is an exaggeration. Yes SFIV still has some balance issues, but the game isn't made broken by it.
