At this point Move looks vastly superior to Kinect, so I have no idea what he's going on about.

Lol. That is hilarious. First of all, Sony fans are talking about Kinect the same reason as MOST people who aren't MS diehards are talking about it...because it looks horrible. I haven't heard one good word from anyone about Kinect. It is laggy, you look lame playing it, the games are weak, only two players, etc. Just because everyone is TALKING about Kinect, it doesn't mean they are saying nice things.

Second, if he doesn't have any clue why Move is different from WM+ then why is he talking about it? He's basically just admitting that he has no clue what he is talking about but going to shoot his mouth off anyway.

But whatever, he is entitled to his opinion. Just like he is entitled to believe people want to wave their arms around in the air to play Forza instead of using a much more responsive and precise controller.

Well ZIMdoom, let me be the first. I think that Kinect is one of the coolest addons developed for a gaming system since we were introduced to games like guitar hero and Rock Band. It may not be for everyone but all the people i know irl (with the Xbox of course..) will be picking it up at launch. Not for river rafting or bowling games etc, but for the awesome "Minority Report" type interface and the video conferencing straight into your living room. The potential Kinect has is mind blowing, imho.

Indeed. Sony have been losing money for years and still try to give us the best console gaming experience releasing amazing titles, and for some PR talk, all the lemmings jump on them.

I agree with him, and I think this will hold true for gamers and the media, alike. Move hasn't and won't garner much attention relative to Kinect because it doesn't do anything new. Also, it releases the same week as Reach, so any mainstream press attention to the gaming world at that time will be focused on how many records the new Halo title broke rather than the new Wii controller for the PS3. Kinect, even though everything shown of it so far has been idiotic, is novel, and thus will attract tons of attention between now and its launch. Whether it fails or succeeds, it will be in spectacular fashion.
