Turn 10: Forza 4 won't feature Porsche

According to them, EA has the exclusivity license to Porsche.

Hate this kind of news. First, GT 5 won't get Porsche, now Forza 4 as well. Car manufacturers exclusivity is bad :(

Not a big fan of the porsche anyway so still day one buy 4 me

RUF is in there which are porsche's essentially manufactured by RUF using unmarked chassis and shells from porsche themselves apart from diffrent engines they are still essentialyl porsche's when it comes down to the chassis etc.

So they arent realy gone, but they are there under a diffrent marque essentially.

This industry is very shady at times.

the funny thing i find about this is that it in no way influences whether i'll buy Forza 4 or the enjoyment i'll get from it, but just means i won't buy any EA games new from now on.

Well, I will mourn the loss of my beloved Carrera GT and a few 911 models but, I'll live. I still can't wait to play Forza 4! Best console racing/driving sim of the generation confirmed! :D

Shame on EA for being so selfish with the Porsche license. Perhaps MS should play hardball with them and deny them access to their Ferrari license.

According two of the comments from the link, in return Turn 10 denied the use of the Ferrari licence to EA.

IF true, did EA really choose Porsche over Ferrari. Because if Ferrari weren't in a game that would be worse in my opinion.

lol I pressed that once (when I got the game) to see what it was about and forgot it existed.

Not really a deal breaker. At all.

Are people actually not buying the game because of no Porsche. That's pretty weird to me. :?

Still looking like a great Racing game, great sequel to one of the best racing games of all time Forza 3. :)
