Twisted Metal PS3 looks like a last gen game.

I'm not even talking about the average graphics here, I'm talking about gameplay the driving looked worse then Alan Wake's and the gunplay looks looks appalling. I'm sure if this wasn't HD then the PS2 would be able to run it. Why have people even been hyping the announcement of this crappy game?.

Cool Story Bro! It is probably going to come out in a year and a half.

People don't generally seem very interested, and I never liked the games as a franchise.

Well, it's not out yet...and Twisted Metal has never been a graphic king type of game, it's pure fun.

The last time these guys got together, they made TM:Black which was AAA at Metacritic, and of course here at Gamespot as well...it was fun. It still is.

To be quite honest, it did look a bit ...shabby,

it does look terrible for the might ps3, considering it has "teh cell" lol, but, twisted metal was never really about graphics. it was more about fun, and thats why i will be getting it

Also, the game is a long ways away from release. Over a year. Because I'm a huge GOW fan, I know that 1 year can mean a huge leap in the way the game looks. GOW 3 as an example of course.

I have no doubts about that. Besides that, this game is about gameplay, not graphics.

Last time I checked graphics isn't what makes a game fun.

Havent seen any one hyping TM because of its graphics.

Take a look at this video and watch when Jaffe is actually driving around. With the way he is manuvering at high speeds you want the car to control super lose and basically toy car like. Like another user said, its a car combat came that is very fast paced, you dont want GT5 controls, hell you dont even want motorstorm controls.

Wonder why the hate against Twisted Metal.

Where graphics are concerned Twisted Metal will be a vehicular car combat game with huge maps. What were you expecting seriously? They only showed multiplayer which always looks worse then single player. The graphics will be improved and polished before release but don't expect the graphics of a linear game (Alan Wake / GEOW / Uncharted etc...), it looks good enough. As for the gameplay Twisted Metal has always felt and played smoothly in my experience and I trust that Jaffe will have TM playing smoothly on the PS3. FlamesOfGrey
