I really only see two problems with mass effect.

1. Rarely any emotion on the characters faces (nitpick i know!)

2. Gunplay seems dull. (mainly the stupid vehicle)

Otherwise still a good looking game. Anyone agree with my nitpicks? I'm really not here to flame it as i will be playing the game in a month or two, i'm just pointing out the few gripes i have. Discuss. Oh, 9.0 at gamespot.

Well number one complaint is actually kind of a big deal.I remember downloading some Mass Effect vidoes of the XBL Marketplace and the video was talking about how the game would showcase a wide array of character emotions and expressions. I guess they scraped that.

Yeah, it's an eye-opener when you HEAR the emotion in the characters voices just to see a dull face... I have no idea why they didn't put in more facial animation. Disk space? Lazy? Don't care? Idk, but it does hurt the overall experience in my eyes. Thanks for agreeing :)

THIRD AND BIGGEST GRIPE. FRAME RATE!

i hate games with bad frame rates. it annoys the hell out of me when you are waiting for the game to catch up with you. reminds me of typing back in the 80's. sometimes you had to walk away from your computer while it caught up with you.

do i think the game is amazing? yes

do i hate the frame rate? more than a vampire nazi named cleo!

Oh i didn't know it had bad framerate issues as i have not touched the game yet. Are they horrendous or more like once in a while?

Although a legit complaint, if you played any Bioware game then you would know that the game will make up for the framerate hitches.

Actually, if you watch the new videos of the game, you will notice that the framrates are fixed and normal now. Every game has bad framerates when they're in early development. The developers will always stablize the framerates near the games release.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, i literally just finished watching the Game Trailers review and even they state that there is incesant frame rate issues. But then again they gave it a 9.6 ;P

I agree about # 1. When I saw some of the recent Mass Effect videos, I notice that a few times.

Ya,I thinkit's disc space. The lack of space on the DVDs is starting to affect 360 games now. PGR4 could've had more tracks, but the devs didn't have enough room. Deny it all you want lemmings, disc space is starting to beccome an issue.

Mass Effect takes about 6.4 GB of data of the available 8 Gigs of a DVD.So no, it wasnt due to lack of disk space.
