I've given up on Asassin's Creed, I couldn't even be interested enough to get through 3 didn't touch Revelations, and don't care for any of these. They milked the series too much and i'm sure a lot of people have burn out by now.
How can anyone be excited about 3 of the same game being made at the same time? (then again how FPS/war games have taken over is also beyond me.)
My favorite thing Ubisoft could do is pretend the game doesnt exist for 3 years and then bring it back proper... instead they'll keep pumping out yearly sequals and kill any type of lasting legacy the game could have. Â

Yep!
I can understand them, with AC selling so well and being popular, but still, it's a shame seeing a franchise with so much potential being diluted in quality due to annual releases which feel overly similiar, aside from different settings.
You are such a hypocrite joke. A Nintendo fan criticizing a company for rehashing. Ha!Are they trying to dilute the quality of the assassin creed franchise?

+1Shit sucks, but it sells well so the people who enjoy it will gobble up anything with AC in the title. Â As long as that money goes into making stuff like The Division which I'm really excited for.

Exactly. Bring the series back with AC4 in 3 years, and I will get it in a heartbeat. But I can't even think of the name of the next Assassins Creed right now, I really have 0 interest in it.Â
problem with ac3 was the constant loading screen.......walk a few cutscene...talk to washington...cutscene...loading...cutscene....load some moreYeah well they claim it will stop franchise fatigue but I'm not convinced. Didn't they spend like 3 years on AC3, and it was still the worst one.
Black flag looks the same, but prettier. I do love pirates though

Remember the 1st game kept cutscenes to a minimum ? It was weird at 1st but its what got me hooked, just like Bioshock and Dead Space, it always felt like a game. Not like a movie.Yeah well they claim it will stop franchise fatigue but I'm not convinced. Didn't they spend like 3 years on AC3, and it was still the worst one.

assassins creed on a next gen consoles could really open the game up alot and be quite an amazing experience, but I wish they would make splinter cell again, the way its supposed to be, chaos theory style.
I certainly am. We havent seen an AC game since 2012 ....so, it's about time Ubisoft decided to finally revive this "dormant" franchise.
