Ubisoft is disappointed with wii-u sales; uncertain about continued support

We can not say were satisfied with the sales of the Wii U. They were good in the United States in November / December, but did not go well in January 2013. Were waiting to see the evolution of things, we look at this closely.

We wont be able to do it on the long term. More you push the next generation towards its limits, the more you will have difficulty in adapting to the old gen. So we are going, little by little, to migrate to the new generation of consoles. I think that by 2015 we will have completed this transition.

I guess nintendo should expect total abandonment once publishers/devs drop ps3 and 360 support in two years.

No surprise. Nintendo did it to themselves by telling everyone what they wanted instead of listening to people tell Nintendo what they wanted. Nintendo has told us that "We don't want online gaming." , "We dont care about HD." , "We don't care about applications, power, graphics, movies....ect." Nintendo and their little arragant ways and their milked cartton characters were always in for a rude awakening this coming game cycle. Everyone knew it, and still, Sheep really though Nintendo was gonna compete after they got lucky with the Wii.

In hindsite, looking back at the Wii and it's game line-up is painful. Probaby the worst console not named Jaguar or 3D0.

Nintendo better release another Mario game quickly or else 3rd parties aren't going to bother due to the low sales.

If I expected good Ubisoft support at all I might be disappointed.

what you expect from a system that has nearly NO big games... I vist game news websites every day and i really can't name one exclusive IP for it...

I really hope things get better for Nintendo, they brought this onto themself's for trying to push another gimmick with old hardware, but it would be a huge shame if the WiiU never pan's out. Unfortunately I think third parties are going to stay far away from it and just focus on Nextgen Consoles/PC.

rayman is safe I would think but watch dogs tho... that's getting cancelled for sureultraking

I would also agree with this and add that whichever game is closer to being completed will come out, while the other won't.
