Developers are using cloud processing to create advanced AI for XBox One games...Cloud is just an online service, it has nothing to do with games being better.

Posts like this are pointless on here, it doesn't matter how many developers, publishers and tech people talk about the cloud. The Sony fanboys cant accept something clearly superior to there precious PS4.tdkmillsyWhy do you Xbot stumps insist on posting such asinine rhetoric?
John Shiring of Respawn had this to say about the cloud: "Let me explain this simply: when companies talk about their cloud, all they are saying is that they have a huge amount of servers ready to run whatever you need them to run. Thats all."
Of course it does, don't be so stupid. The cloud means games can be constantly on and constantly changing, even if your Xbox or PS4 is turned off. It opens a shit load more opportunities in gaming that just sticking in a beefier CPU and GPU. More connected games is the innovation next gen, not just prettier graphics.Cloud is just an online service, it has nothing to do with games being better.

You are 100% incorrect. Â SONY purchased Gaikai (a cloud service) Â last year and has been investing in expanding and improving it.Google it.

Gaikai is f*cking tiny
Sorry, but the reason Sony have said they are using it just to stream old games is because thats all it was set up to do. Totally different from the likes of Azure that can sub-divide computations between the server and local hardware.
So yeah, Gaikai will let you stream PS3 games. Stream demos. That kinda shit, unless Sony invest some serious money into expanding and upgrading it.

we are talking the onset of a new generation of cloud, xbox cloud, and its more than dedicated servers, it will be built on and used by devs.   7 years you will have alot of games touting the cloud and Sony cannot do that unless they start investing the cloud.   I bet they will have a cheap ass cloud just like PSN, jeez get yourself in the future my bluejay friend, get a xbo.. Â
But how much can the 'cloud' do when you can play all the single player games offline on xbox one?
Sure i get that mutiplayer can have a few plus points, but there is a limit to what can be offloaded. Sure you can make games more dynamic with games worlds that change depemding on what collectivly the online community is doiing, but seriously how many games are going to do that.

well according to Ubisoft we'll have a new generation in 2018honestly it could be, im fine with that if thats the last generation and it can do photorealism or close to it.

Very true. Cows will never accept the fact that the Xbox One is significantly more advanced (with its cloud infrastructure) than the PS4. Add to that the great voice and gesture controls of the Xbox One.
Cows will always support any Sony console no matter how unevolved it is.

Sure. Keep believing that. If the cloud was going to make a huge splash it would have made an impact in PC gaming first.
Everything Microsoft does, Sony does better, in 5 years time nobody will be able to touch Gaikai the best cloud gaming service in the world.
Just check Gaikai.com
"200+ TITLES. 50M+ GAMERS PER MONTH. A GUINNESS WORLD RECORD.
And that's just for starters! Over the past several years, we've worked tirelessly to redefine the way people access and play video games. We developed amazing streaming technology, assembled an accomplished management team, signed numerous platform partners, and built the world's fastest and most widespread cloud gaming network.
And while we think all of that is pretty cool, we're not done yet. As a new member of the Sony Computer Entertainment family, we're working even harder to ensure the world's best entertainment content is delivered instantly to you, no matter where you are in the world."
They mentioned cloud in general, nothing specific to Xbox One there, which isn't surprising since Ubisoft uses a completely different cloud service already which if you're playing any online games from Ubisoft you're likely already using.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6xvZSk6cTo&feature=c4-overview&playnext=1&list=TLrfR4dGh_yZs
