If the Wii was powerful enough, I would have EASILY bought Resident Evil 5 for it. The dated movement is alleviated by the superior Wii controls. FPSing on the Wii when done right is great...
God forbid they try to give wii users a decent experience based on their main controller option and hardware. They do this for PC games why you don't QQ then?
it makes sense considering its the easiest the develop for (though maybe not to port a game to) and it can sell very well on the wii as long as word spreads of that version

How do you know it will have more funding and production values? CoD is an Activision franchise and their crown jewel. I'm sure Infinity Ward will hit it out of the park this time around.

no its not... it still an entertainment system with a store to download stuff, videos you can watch a weather channel and web browser... so how does that make it any different then the ps3/360?

No Zipper game to date has had better production values than ANY infinity ward developed CoD.

That makes no sense. Exclusivity has little to do with production values this gen (Dead Space, RE5, Fallout 3, SFIV, Bioshock, etc). yet none of them has production values like Gears, God of War, Uncharted 2, etc exclusive is exclusive. look at all consoles ever made, the game that had the highest production value on the console was exclusive.
the reason is really obvious... we are STILL IN AN ECONOMIC CRISIS and unless anyone is in Blizzard everyone needs to get money where ever they can lol

seeing how the first actual gameplay we saw of the PS3/360/PC version was just barely a month ago, I don't see a big difference with this announcement.

Good for Wii owners, they need a game like this and I doubt the PS3 and 360 versions will suffer because of it, lol. As for myself, I really have no interest in Modern Warfare 2. I will probably eventually pick it up after it is released, but I will not be in any hurry, that's for sure. Another shooter is the last thing I want. Bring on the flood of RPG's and action/adventure titles please.

Don't get me wrong, the game looks great. I just think that a lot of gamers are starting to get more and more sick of first person shooters right now. I know I certainly am.
