Uh oh! Naughty Dog lead designer leaving after a string of employee departures

I know N64 era Rare was way better than ND ever was, but could it be a similar situatuation transpiring with all this top level talent leaving ND? Sad news.

Following a string of recentdepartures as of late, it appears that Uncharted's lead designer Richard Lemarchand is ready for something new as he's announced that he'll be leaving Naughty Dog in order to pursue new challenges at the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California.

So dig up news from months ago to try to claim ownage? Are you really that desperate?

This was already posted too. And string of employee departures? really? You posted one guy who left ND and a link to some Sega thing.

I remember when Jason Rubin left. That broke my heart, but ND bounced back.

There is a video about J&D HD Collection where the devs came together talking about making the games on PS2. Jason Rubin was there too and he explained that he wanted to venture into other things like comics and such, thus the reason he left ND. Well now he is head of THQ and I wish him best of luck. The guy is awesome!

Did anybody actually click his links and realize that the "previous departures" were the Sega CEO and the co-founder of Thatgamecompany leaving their respective companies? I guess it's true that no one on this board reads anything but the title any more.

Old news, and he was the only one that left. Naughty Dog is very talented so this won't effect them, just look at The Last of Us, game of the yera 2013 has been confirmed.

I feel bad for 360 only owners, you guys are going to miss out, BIG TIME. I don't think Halo or Gears will help you sleep at night either, certainly not as much as you say it will.

PS3 fans arn't jealous about Halo or Gears or any other 360 game, we just don't care about them. 360 fans however are very jealous of TLOU, UC, KZ, and most other PS3 games, it's very apparent. Can't say I blame them really, I'd be jealous too if the other system was better and offered better games.

Glad I made the right decision.

uncharted doesn't come close to games Killer Instinct and Donkey Kong Country imo
