I've heard is said that the 360 is actually doing better in the UK than most other places, but I don't know for certain. Last numbers for other parts of Europe were France, Spain, and Portugal..months ago.
The 360 has a larger instal base in the United States than Wii and PS3 combined..and is larger in the UK by a few 100,000 units compared to Wii. Over the next year PS3 will never catch up in the US and UK.

or they could just keep their ps2 which will be worthless for trade in 4 years. :) Truth be told, casuals dont care about the games they bought 4 years ago.

You'd need more money than sense to buy a ps3 here right now, it's going for £400-£500. It was never doing well with the exception of the launch, i've still yet to meet anyone that owns the thing or anyone who wants one lol
The adverts, well..have you seen the ones the 360 is using in japan? That's a bit like the ps3 ones here, they make little to no sense. I don't even get them.
The ps2 was huge here, sony needs to give Europe a price drop if it wants to get anywhere, the things are already more costy than in the US.

that's a big lie from sony fanboy., I remember ps3 only outsold xb360 ps2 during launch weeks in UK.

the first 2-3 weeks after launch ps3 was outselling 360 in the uk, however uk is only 1 region granted the biggest one in the EU, ps3 is doing well in the other countries, not sure if those numbers are enough to make up the gap in the UK but we'll see.
