There aren't any. there are tech specs, there are milti-plat games, but in the end the big differences come down to game styles and graphical quality which with systems this close technology wise will swing from side to side as each new first party game is released.

it all comes down to personal prefrence and opinon, which as we have seen can vary greatly. 

There are no proven facts because there are so many ways that PS3 and 360 counterbalance each other. I can argue that 360 is better because it has a good game library while someone else could argue that PS3 is better because of its array of features. Hardware is even harder to compare because you have so many people saying so many different things.Tiefster

This is a comparison of consoles, not which one I should buy.

Proven fact:

Based on average review score, the xbox 360 has seven AAA games. The Playstation 3 has 2, one of which is an XBox 360 port from a year ago.

This is a comparison of consoles, not which one I should buy.

I guess I misread it... But the point still stands. Comparing consoles is fruitless. I don't understand people's fascination with comparing hardware when it's the games that matter. The Xbox 360 and PS3 offer pretty much the safe in terms of graphic, the Wii has that f*cking motion control, and the PC is the powerhouse. That's about all you need to know about each system.

Go with the console that has the games you want, there is no other argument to be made.
