I loved enslaved, but I for some reason like it way more than anyone here.

The graphics are a bit better than Uncharted 1, those are just some horrible screenshots.

Wow uncharted has come a long way...

Uncharted 1 is so underrated graphically. It was the first game I bought on my PS3 when I got it in 2009 and I was amazed by the graphics. I couldn't believe more people didn't use Uncharted 1 in graphics arguments and just went straight for MGS4, which in my opinion looked half as good as fanboys claimed.

Enslaved had a 30 fps locked and hardly any Screen Tearing.

However the Comparison I think is unfair because they were using the 360 version of Enslaved and not the PS3 Version.

Thats what happens when you take the ouutdated UE3.0 engine vs a custome engine for the PS3 . The PS3 is going to romp it.

They received a tie with graphics being equal the 360 having less screen tearing but the ps3 having less texture pop in and better load times.

^Conclusion to this somewhat pointless comparison. Drake's Fortune also looks better than the overpraised visuals of MGS4 and Gears of War 2.

I might get flamed for this, but I thought MGS4 was ugly. The character models were great. Everything else? Horrible.

Yeah I didnt think Mgs4's graphics were anything special. On topic- I enjoyed Uncharted far more than enslaved, though i did have fun with enslaved and would like to see a sequel ( I presume there will be one), enslaved is good, Uncharted is fantastic (especially the jetski up the river part).

yeah....no....let's see them compare the area of enslaved where you have to pull down the sails on the windmill, near Trip's home...that area is beautiful and blows away anything in Uncharted 1, and most of Uncharted 2.

The first 2 or 3 levels of Enslaved look ok, but nothing to brag about, (you can only do so much with green jungle after all) but the game has some really nice looking areas later in the game. Just my opinion of course, and I love uncharted, but I think Enslaved looks better.

Now on to the more important question...who is hotter Trip or Elena...;)

I agree. A few parts of some levels looked great, but the whole thing really disappointed me. I was expecting so much better graphics. The cutscenes were beautiful when filled with the amazing character models, and some of the environments were top notch, but the whole game was wildly inconsistent.

Why does this comparison feel like apples to oranges?

All I'm going to say is that I absolutely love both games, but Enslaved gets my vote. I loved the artstyle, loved how expressive the characters were (it actually raised the bar in this area), and I actually played it twice as opposed to only playing Uncharted once.

Not really fair. They are comparing it to Uncharted, even the 1st one :D . Its like comparing the most recent Tomb Raider game to Uncharted 2. You don't compare something that was trully the first next gen title of this generation to something that looks and plays like it a spruced up last gen title. I'm sorry Enslaved but I really didn't go "WOW" at any point during those 5 hours of rented time we had together :( . You were a fun game neverhtheless.

Haven't played enslaved, Uncharted 1 was awesome though...
