Uncharted 2 will be a contendor for GOTY perhaps, but there are a lot more titles that have more of a chance to be GOTY.

If i remember clearly...The only website that matters is GS...And they gave Scribblenauts Game of Show. So right now, it looks like Scribblenauts will get Game of the Year before Uncharted.

For the record, the past E3 game of the show E3 awards didn't win GOTY. Bioshock did in 07 and LBP did last year, neither are GOTYs. However there is one thing in common with all these best of E3 awards...AAA CONFIRMED!

But it seems like right now AAAe is the least expected from Uncharted 2 around here, but personally its good enought for me. :)

I think this looks great, but can we calm the hell down with all this GOTY nonsense? Besides prettier graphics and multiplayer, this looks no more worthy of GOTY than the first. Hell, SC2 gets less GOTY hype and it's 10 years in the making from a dev who's already had a goty and several world renowned rts's and rpg's.

Actually I just checked the GS records and I have to correct my above post. Fable 2 won best of E3 last year, LBP won 07 even though it didn't come out in that year.

Ive gotta be honest, it just seems like all the hype of this game revolve around graphics.

The gameplay looks ok though..

I honestly can't see U2 winning GOTY. I mean it's great that it's going to have multiplayer and co-op, but those aren't enough to boost its score to a 9.5.

And from what I've seen in the videos the game doesn't look like GOTY material to me.

i hope it does get GoTY and MW2 doesn't, cos it'll be a spit in the face of Activision, yeah that'll teach for over-hyping their games and calling it "the best game ever" before its released.

He didn't say if it would be limited but i doubt by time probably just by content as it is a demo.

My guess it'll be the beta but free to everyone so there'll be a large online base even before release

Uncharted 2 will be GoTY!

I hate this genre of games but after playing uncharted recently Uncharted 2 will be first day purchase for me its not like I started loving this genre but Uncharted is an exception :P .

Theres a chance it will be, the competition isn't nearly as tough as it was in 2007
