Uncharted 2 hits 3 Million better sales then the last 2 halo games.

in the short amount of Uncharted 2's release it has dominated both Halo ODST and Halo Wars have they found a cure for the halo fever ? because it's wearing out

Amazing game with great multiplayer and soon the new patch which will be adding mroe trophies. the game deserves it and hope sales to increase even more

But seriously... dont consider Halo Wars a "Halo game", its just a spinoff type thing.

And according to VGChartz, UC2 has not even outsold ODST (VGChartz has ODST at over 4.5mil, where did you get under 3 mil? seriously)

3 Mil is a good accomplishment, grats for them. I have no doubt its an amazing game (at least from what ive seen, only played a bit of it myself). But dont compare UC2 to halo in terms of sales. it doesn't work.

In fact its quite amazing to think that ODST, basically an overpriced expansion to the Halo series, sold 3 games for every 2 of uncharted. I guess it goes to show either how low UC2s sales are, or how halo fans will just buy anything released that is Halo. Don't get me wrong, I loved ODST's campaign, fIrefight was a welcome addition, and the new MP maps were solid. But for ppl who already owned Halo 3, it wasnt worth 60 bucks. (For me it was a sweet, deal, didn't have halo 3 so got all the new content, with basically the old halo MP -some of the best FPS MP outthere still- free). It bodes well for Reach, as long as the old Halo fans who raced to the stores to buy Halo 3 havnt gotten interested in other stuff xD

Halo 3 ODST = no/rare marketing by MS

Halo 3 = full fledged marketing by MS

Halo Reach (as big as a game like 3) = full fledged marketing by MS

So if that holds truth, Reach = outsells U2 by 24hours...since its userbase is way more..

ME2 is a multiplatform and it sold the same as uncharted 2 did first month but yeah seeing the second game did much better than the first the 3rd will only destroy both :P

Lol I know. Im sure the sales would have been even better but I dont remember seeing 1 commercial for Uncharted 2, but hundreds for Halo games. Sony needs to step it up in the marketing area and get some commercials out there. All you really need is 5 seconds of gameplay to see how awesome it is, lol.

Halo jumped the shark long ago I'd say. ODST was very fun, but the mistake was in marketing it as a full game when it was a glorified expansion. As much as Reach might be hyped, there are definitely reasons why it won't sell as fast as previous Halo games, and even then Uncharted 2 came out just 2 years after the "really good, but not amazing' Uncharted 1, with all the love its gotten I'd expect U3 to easily become a sales giant.
