Sony says that its exclusive title Uncharted 2 is now one of its fastest selling title for PS3 in 4 months only with over 3.5 Million units Sold WorldWide. If U2 sold over 3.5 Mil in 4 months with GoW3 coming there is a strong chance in that title to outsold U2 in less time. GoW3 is the most anticipated title for many ps3 owners

Awards aren't necessarily synonymous with sales. The majority of gamers out there are probably unaware of the awards the game got.

Thats funny I thot it was the worst Before GOTY it only sold 300k then it win GOTY and sell 2mill and and after a year 3.5

Sinserly I wish it sell more because Most PS3 fans that Trash talk 360 over Uncharted2 dont even Owne the dern thing

This total doesn't seem right as wasn't there just an article last week that is sold 3 million. So it sold 500K in the last week. I don't think so. Also I know VG Chartz isn't reliable but it only has it at 2.66 ww. Unfortunately this great game just hasn't soldmagnificently for the most part. Decent but not as well as it should of for a game that should have more mass appeal.

yeah, it seems like it should show up on sales charts in 1 region or another if it sold 500k within a week

out of the top 8 - 2 are racers and 6 are shooters or have shooting as a major element. Yes, very, very diverse.

According to your source VGC I think you're very wrong .... that looks shooter heavy to me, all 6 with shooting as a major or main element.

They aren't classified as shooters though, both GTA4 and MGS4 are Third Person Action games and Since GT5P sold 4,650,000 (more than COD:WAW) it replaces it in the top 5.

EDIT and you can argue all you want but shooting is a major element of GTA and MGS (of the gameplay at least - not inclduing the cutscenes). They aren't really very diverse compared shooters.

EDIT- MGS4 can be played without shooting alot and GTA4 is heavy on shooting but its heavy on driving too what are you going to call it a racing sim?
