Gore!

If only Uncharted 2 had gore and heads exploding, then it could have been the best multiplayer.

My cousin is a Gears geek so I told him how similar UC2 is compared to Gears. He came over to play and liked it but he said there's something major missing that could've made him buy a PS3 for UC2, and that is Gore. So for now he'll be sticking to GeoW2

Why didn't they add gore? Why rated T when they could've had a million converted Gears fan by simply adding Gore. Gore!

That is so ridiculous it makes me want to cry.

Seriously, how does gore make an experience any better?

Gore might make the game rated M for Mature and if it's rated M they better have romancing with Elena and Chloe. But I doubt it the next Uncharted will be rated M. It's like a PG-13 movie, they want as much people to see it.

I just want Uncharted 3 to be a bit more gritty and brutal. I wouldn't mind some gore either.

Gore? Please no. Uncharted 2 doesn't need gore, I actually think it might dampen the experience of this game. It's not a shooter, and the blood effects are more than enough. Plus, the T rating from the lack of gore makes it available to a wider audience so more people can enjoy the masterpiece created by Naughty Dog.

Want to know what else needs gore? Mario. Yes! Goombas exploding with blood and guts when you jump on them. And instead of using the axe on the bridge to destroy the bridge, cut Bowser into millions of small pieces. Why make it rated E when it could be more mature by adding gore?

see uncharted doesnt need gore because it has this thing thats WAY better for a game than gore, its called story and character development two things gear lacks in horribly (well as far as gears one goes i didnt like the first one enough to play a 2nd one) when you, as a dev, depend on gore to sell your game then you are missing the point of what makes a good game into a great game. and thats all gears was to me, a good game but nothing (but the gore) to remember it by

Don't know about "better", but more satisfying definately. Kills in Cod WAW were alot more satisfying seeing limbs and blood spurts as opposed to just flying backwards or other stiff animations in MW2.

Maybe more satisfying, but it would have to be suitable to the type of game.

You cant add or take out anything to make Uncharted have the best multiplayer. It will NEVER have the best. Gore would only detract from something good.

If I wanted Indiana Jones with gore, id watch the last parts of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

So long as it were realistic and not over the top, I'd be fine with it. I'd especially like it in SP. It'd be a little disturbing to pop Nathan Drake's charming face in multi.

No. The second heads started exploding and limbs started flying, the charm and comedic air of the game would go with it. It's not a good sacrifice.

It doesn´t ,but soldier of fortune was one of those games where the gore was almost "part of the gameplay". It´s certainly better with it.

As for uncharted,no,gore is not necessary,it would be out of place.

Uncharted 2 had a kinda realistic amount of blood.

Not really. There wasn't really any blood, save foron the ground after a shootout. A sniper shot would tear a limb off, a gattling gun would rip someone to shreds or at least cause blood to spurt on impact, a headshot would crumple a head and a shotgun would mutilate a torso. As graphic as this sounds, it wouldn't have to be overly so, like Gears of War, just subtley realistic the way it should be. Uncharted felt very fake in the way that it portrayed death. Not that it needs to be overexemplified to the point where Drake truly seems like a psychotic murderer, but in a game where a sense of realism is attempted, I think some amount of gore is a must. Not just for the sake of being there, but for the sake ofimmersion.

If a game ends up having to be rated M to retain what the designers feel is necessary to their vision, then sure, why not gore it up some? It aggravates me when enemies in doom react more realistically to getting hit by a rocket than many modern M rated games.

You know what UC2 really needs? For money to shoot out of a person when they die. Bleed blood? Nah, just make Drake spill money everywhere and it will sell millions! MILLIONS! Just ask MW2. :P
