Uncharted 2 single player campaign is still the best this gen

On any system, simply breath taking and very well written. All bodes well for the 3rd game in the series.

it was alright, nothing on mass effect 2 though.

I can think of several games thats sp is better

id say MGS4. prolly because when it was released mid-2008, it just blew me away.

The best Hollywood campaign in gaming, by a long shot.

I'm not into Indiana Jones, so I'm gonna say no. The game with the best campaign I've played this gen is between Alan Wake and Mass Effect.

I preferred UC1's campaign.

Stalker: Shadow Of Chernobyl is, actually.

Definitely one of the best this gen.

There have been some great Ca,paigns this generation.

Uncharted 2 being one of them.

But ME2

and a bunch of other games come really really close

nah uncharted 2 is ome of the best games of this gen but it's not touching metal gear solid 4 or the series period

Yeah I would agree. SMG is up there though.

It's certainly my favourite single player campaign this gen. MGS4, GOW3 and Arkham Asylum follow it though.

Dead-Memories

While UN2 had a truely great cinematic campain, that fact that it prides itself on being so cinematic makes it not the best. The cutscenes of MGS4 are unbeatable. From a gameplay perspective it might make a 9 or 10 spot in my top 10

Its subjective but yes IMO its the best this gen or even any gen TBH. I loved it so much I cannot wait for the 3rd.

I wouldn't call it the undisputed best, but it was near perfect at doing what it aimed to do.

I personally preferred Mass Effect 1's campaign, because even though the execution was rougher, the ideal was vastly more appealing to me.

Uncharted 2 is still fantastic, though.

If you like cinematic games with basic casual linear gameplay for the masses, hardly games at all

For me, Torchlight has a 100x better, deeper, longer single player campaign and is a XBLA game

Demons Souls has a million times better, deeper, longer single player campaign, or is that a billion ? Make it a trillion

Not even in my top 15, Demons souls was much better

There is something called gameplay, games are not about cut scenes and mindless shooting of stuff

Any RPG has a vastly better campaign of actual real varied gameplay than Uncharted 2
