define polished? both games are AAA so.....

uncharted 2 looks better and has a better story.

halo reach is alot more open, has a better multiplayer, has more tyoes of gameplay modes, has different gameplay changes in single player.

uncharted 2 has a better overall score on metacritic but reach will sale 5 times more.

id say they are about even in terms of polish but halo reach has more game and will last a heck of a lot longer.

winner : halo reach

i prefer reach overall but uc2, in terms of presentation, is much more polished

Yeah some of you guys are talking about things like better gameplay, more features, the style of gameplay. This has nothing to do with polish. Im talking about things like errors, glitches, quirks, etc.

So aside from the AI, is there anything else worth mentioning about Reach?

What about the game is more polished? If you are talking about the graphics then I would agree. If we are talking overall then I would say Halo: Reach.

I haven't played Reach, but Uncharted 2 is kind of a glitchy game from my experiences with it.

Polish has nothing to do with gameplay, graphics, features. Think of it like this. When you write an essay for school, you need to proofread and submit a final copy with no spelling and grammar errors. Youre polishing your essay. Same thing with games. Your getting rid of errors and things that shouldnt happen to provide a smoother experience.

Polished is sort of a vague term, but I prefer UC2 in every way other than single and multiplayer modes. In that aspect, Reach is the better game.

I don't know, both of their game discs were very shiny.

My biggest complaint about Reach is AI, the enemy AI wasn't bad (except for the formation pattern) but allied AI was the borderline terrible. He'd armorlock for no reason, not shoot, steal a vehicle and then 5 seconds later get the vehicle stolen or get it off it randomly.

But which is more polished? Too hard to tell imo, both were well polished games

Single player: Uncharted 2, one of the best campaigns in gaming history.

Multiplayer: Reach. Bungie wanted to give Halo's community a good send off with a very deep multiplayer.

What does "Halo has more game", even mean?

And the single player hasn't changed at all, other than some slight AI, and enviroment tweaks, as well as a few people following you around?

Uncharted 2 is the clear winner here, the 2nd game is miles ahead of uncharted 1.

and remember, how much of a time difference is there between the release of the games? and how much of a score, and quality difference there is.
