Uncharted 3 New Multiplayer Details

"According to a post overthe Naughty Dog forums, yes, players will be able to sprint in multiplayer.

Naughty Dog also revealed a new medal system, and players can spend these medals to purchase one-use items. One of the items shown was a grenade which splits into three grenades. Naughty Dog has also introduced what everyone wants in Uncharted 3 multiplayer: the ability to sprint.

Another feature shown was booster, which is similar to the perk system in Call of Duty."

I Loved Uncharted 2 multiplayer! I will love this! The only thing I hope they fix is the melee system.

Well it's only a one-time use :P so the grenade thing won't be as bad as say AC 130. Let's just hope they don't go overboard with these medals.

Hopefully it's designed in such a way that it'll encourage players to complete feats that don't revolve around simply killing. Perhaps completeting different objectives.

Excited and scared lol. I hope they don't make it some awful noob friendly MP like CoD, but borrowing some elements of other games, even CoD, is fine when done right. Please don't mess this up ND!

For a game (MW) that is so hated by the core community, it sure is making its way into your favorite games bit by bit :P.

I don't think its a bad thing. Developers should just take the time to balance them and make them unique for their game.

triple frag was a bad idea in cod4....does everyone rememeber that matrydom effect that was going on in uncharted 2?...imagine that with 3 frags :l

PLEASE make a barebones playlist. I'm tired of bums rushing for power weapons right off the bat. Played a few custom games no boosters or anything like that and it was amazing. Shows how good you are, not how quickly you can find the best weapons.

I bet uncharted 3 will have outstanding multiplayer, just like UC2.

I think it would be best just to take them out. I also think there should be fewer grenades lying around the map.

Me either. I hate stuff like this because I'm always the one that seems to die by all this stuff. The lock on grenades in UC2 were already annoying enough and accounted for a huge portion of my deaths. The last thing I need it someone throwing 3 grenades at me and guaranteeing my death :(

i hated spawning across the map on Plunder knowing i couldnt do anything since their was no options to run faster. options are always good

At first this sounded like bad news (I'm a big fan of the Uncharted 2 and I still play the multiplayer)

but after second thought it wont be too bad, all of the noobs will be sprinting around and it will be easy to pick them off. I probably wont even use it lol.

I know these boosts like the 3 granade thing will probably get annoying, but it is only a 1 time use, and maybe the other ones they haven't revealed yet are useful in other ways that don't involve killing (hopefully not situational awareness)
