Uncharted 4 has gone Gold

Unfortunately it won't release until May 10 due to them having to manufacture more copies because the demand exceeded their expectations.

Done! I was so excited to see this gold! My only regret is the CE is like Uncharted 3's, so I'm just getting the special Edition.

I have to ask - if I hated the first few hours of Uncharted 1, is it worth playing through the remaining games in the series?

Well said. The same person directing Uncharted 4 is also the person that directed the 2X top 5 GOAT Naughty Dog games. Bruce Straley's lowest scoring game on Metacritic is sitting at a 95!

Halo 5 smokes the MP in Uncharted 4. People are buying Uncharted 4 for the single player campaign.

Just so you know, UC2 multi was played by a ton of people and from what i've heard, UC4's multi was received extremely positively. Wouldn't surprise me if UC4 multi had way more players than Halo 5. An uncharted game surpassing the popularity of Halo's multi... now that's kinda sad if you ask me.

The Xbox has a negative effect on your PS4 gaming experience and thats sad. Why would you mention the Xbox in a non xbox related thread if you didn't feel to the contrary.

Why i mention the Bone? Because the Bone has nothing to deal with UC4. You know, SW material, Mr Pedro.

But you supposed to be a PS4 fanboy not an Xbox fanboy. Mentioning it only brings more attention to its amazing impact it has on your life.

seriously all games from what ever system u praise should atleast pick this game up. if u dont have a ps4 then understandable but try and borrow one of ur friends

My wife is excited they aren't delaying it any further. I'm excited to add another LCE to my collection. I just hope it's better than the SFV one. My Ryu falls off his stand..........

It does have an astonishing impact on my whole family.

The PS4 is a life changing experience. It brings the whole family together for various media, then of course the gaming that can be enjoyed with friends from around the `world. Heck, you could even make new life long friends and enjoy the experience together.

I got over 40 hours in last game, but I played multiple times, trophy hunting and found all the treasures. I plan to do the same. But I try to do that on all SP games I but to trt and get my money's worth. I wont be playing much MP unless friends do.

I've beaten uc 1+3 once and uc2 + last of us twice, there's just not that much replay value(certainly not straight away) and I've never been to achievements/trophies etc nor do I play third person shooters on MP

playing a game through twice is already 20h+ and it's high quality content, so it's more than enough value for the game

Day one, really excited for this game. U2 was the best but I loved all 3 so if this one is the same quality I'll be a happy gamer.

Yup, a 2.5 million dollar tournament and one of the most watched games on Twitch, totally forgotten about.

UC2 was played by a dedicated and extremely small community. UC4 will be played for about a week before the 95% of people leave it for something else. Especially since the game runs on laggy P2P servers and has microtransactions

Halo 5 was one of the most watched games on Twitch today, and will easily crack the top 2 only behind League of Legends on Sunday during the world championships. Also a 2.5 million dollar tournament with 1.5 million of it being funded by the community, also the insane support that 343 has been giving the game with free DLC that Naughty Dog will never be able to match.

Meanwhile a month after launch, Uncharted 4 will fade into obscurity, the community will shrivel to a few thousand hardcore fans, no multi million dollar tournaments, will never crack the top 20 games on Twitch after the first month. No one will care about it because it's a mediocre, bare bones and forgettable multiplayer component that Naughty Dog cut corners on.

And I bet that didn't bother you when Halo 3 ran on a laggy P2P server.

And while we're talking about twitch, let me remind you that even bloodborne gets 2x the amount of viewers that Halo 5 does on an average day.

Halo is dead, man. It's time to move on. Uncharted 4 will probably outsell Halo 5 by a large magnitude. I expect Halo 5's lifetime sales to be around 2.5 million with around 5,000 players only simultaneously. Uncharted 4 is looking to surpass 10 million sales and have at least 50,000+ players online simultaneously.

SONY now has so many franchises that are bigger than Halo. It's pretty ironic considering lems were bashing SONY last gen for having no heavy-hitting exclusives. I bet you lems are all in the fetal position crying about how this gen has shaped up.

This is pretty cool, Druckmann and Sam Lake exchanging copies of their games with each other. In case people didn't know, Uncharted 2 is Sam Lake's favorite game of all time.
