Pretty sure there will be an Uncharted 4 on PS4. Let's just hope it's near U2 levels and not like U3
As much as I love Uncharted (seriously it's SP is fun thanks to it's characters and the MP is one of the best in it's genre IMO), after TLOU I really want to see ND go all out with something totally new! Obviously I won't complain if UC happens on the PS4 either :PDesmonicPretty much this. We don't really need another Uncharted game... If they left it a few years, I think I'd be happier.

Agreed, with both statements.
Ehh.... I don't think I want to play another Uncharted. I have the first two, beat them, thought they were okay. Shallow but entertaining. I rented the third and after playing for a few hours decided that the series had run its course. Didn't even bother finishing it. Then I got Golden Abyss (came in a bundle with my Vita) and it left me with the same feeling that 3 did... namely, the feeling that there was no reason for the game to exist. The series has barely evolved at all and the stories are too dull to hold my interest for long.famicommanderYou worded it much better than I could. Didn't finish the third one, and the handheld version I borrowed off my brother in law was in the system for under 30 minutes before I took it out.
I would prefer The Last of Us 2, think about it, 10-15 years after the original, now with Joel gone and Ellie in her mid 20's still figthing against infected and one person who suddenly discovers everything that happend with the Fireflies a long time ago...make it happen ND

I agree with this. Â Anything after the second is basically just milkage. Â The stories were all practically the same. Â ND needs to start a completely new series (NOT TLoU), just like they do every generation. Â
Nah. New gen, new game. Not just the same game in a different setting.I would prefer The Last of Us 2, think about it, 10-15 years after the original, now with Joel gone and Ellie in her mid 20's still figthing against infected and one person who suddenly discovers everything that happend with the Fireflies a long time ago...make it happen ND

My sentiments as well... ND would have to bring a mindblowing story for me to jump on board, but after getting the same story structure 3x in a row i would rather have them try something else instead of waiting for the jackpot with uc4.

Why people doesn't seem to want sequels :? i mean after examples like Super Mario Galaxy 2, Uncharted 2, Assasin's Creed 2, Saint's Row 2, Killzone 2, etc...what would be the reason to not have The Last of Us 2?
I'm not against a new game...but i would be lying if i didn't say that i really hope they make TLoS 2.

Certain games can have sequels, TLoU is not one of them. Â The story had such an impact because it left you to think about it, brood about it, and question it. Â A sequel in the same world would simply be milkage and would destroy the impact that the first game had, even if it was about other characters. Â The Last of Us was art, and art does not need sequels.

What came after Uncharted 2? An average game. What came after AC2? Three, soon to be four average games. What came after Killzone 2? An average game. These companies often have a lot of talented people working for them... I think it's a disservice to the industry as a whole to have them churn out sequel after sequel.[QUOTE="madsnakehhh"][QUOTE="Consternated"] Nah. New gen, new game. Sure, in the end everything is hypothetical, they might screw the sequel...just like they might screw their next new IP too. I just want more of The Last of Us, that's all.

You just can't make those assumptions.
UC3 wasnt boring.....the ending just sucked ballsCool. Hopefully it isn't boring like UC3.

At the VGAs you'll hear something from Naughty Dog. Â Obviously they're going to be doing more in the Uncharted-verse or TLOU-verse since they're using the same engine for their upcoming PS4 titles. Â I'm ok with more Uncharted - it's set up in a way that allows for the developers to be original with each title and not be restricted by their previous iterations.

Eh, I got pretty bored of the game after the jungle or Forest level where that building was set on fire.

No! No more for TLoU. A new IP is in order. You can't make a perfect game better.Yeah cuz U3 is a bad game lol....Pretty sure there will be an Uncharted 4 on PS4. Let's just hope it's near U2 levels and not like U3

More sequels, do the guys at Sony ever do new IPs? :cool:RR360DDHalo 5, Forza 5, Dead Rising 3

Ouch :lol::lol::lol:

The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Puppeteer, Rain...
Which new IPs the 360 had this year?
Uncharted 4 will start off with Drake and Sully doing stuff then Chloe shows up and the three of them are off to an adventure for about half the game. Then Chloe and Sully will be out so we can focus once more on Nathan and Elena rediscovering their love for one-another to finally hook up again so they can seperate between games. AGAIN. Oh, and there will be one or two weak villains in it that will make our heroes fight for their lives until they discover what teh villains want for evil, then it will be lost once again and the villain will die because they aren't interesting enough to let live and return in a future insallment.
Or hopefully they will try something new and not be another rehash like the disappointing Uncharted 3 was.

Nope.
Drake reveals his incestous gay love for Sully and Chloe goes all lesbian on Elena. It will sell 5 millions copies in the 1st week.

Who cares
It will just be like any other unchartered game
Cutscene
boring gunfight in one room
cutscene
rock jumping + stupid puzzle
enemies SOMEHOW!! followed us! + another boring gunfight x 2
stupid lucky escapes, rock climbing, couple of rocks fall followed by cutscene
AND THE BIG FINAL SCENE!! treasure turns out to be mystical power and whole place crashes down + heros walk away empty handed
All 3 games were like this....how much more can you possibly stomach?
