the psv is doomed, man, it didn't sell 88,000 on first editions alone, it doesn't have games topping charts on its launch day "something the 3ds didn't do", its doomed i tell ya
[QUOTE="BibiMaghoo"]Lets see how they do next week against SSX (and ME3? ) SW__Troll
Yah, the PS Vita pretty much went head-to-head with zero new high-profile releases.
i highly doubt just because their is a drought of games that people would go out and buy a 250-300 dollar handheld just to play fifa. so that has nothing to do with it.[QUOTE="SW__Troll"][QUOTE="BibiMaghoo"]Lets see how they do next week against SSX (and ME3? ) infinite884

The point was that they didnt have to try hard, as no high profile games were released in the week.
So while what you say is true, its not as impressive as if other big titles were launched at the same time.

"Sales not important" "I don't care about sales" "I can't play sales" "YES SONY IS WINNING!" I love how it goes any time Sony lays a sales smack down, however small.blue_hazy_basiccome on man, you don´t need to generalize :?.
Some people do, others don´t.
Some like to talk about sales in general without crap behind it, others don´t.
Besides I haven´t seen (as for now) no fanboyish sales related post in this thread

I wasn't just talking about this thread, but in general. Everyone on SW does it. But why people feel the need to come into a sales thread (and its often the same people) and over and over again reply and each time say they don't care about sales is beyond me, but then throw a little a party when its good news and sales matter. Not saying its everyone obviously, but you know it happens time and time again.According to Edge only 18% of those who bought a Vita in the UK bought FIFA with it. Sounds like a very slow week.
unless they magically have information regarding digital sales "which the game is cheaper if you go that route" then we can't really say if its a slow start or notAccording to Edge only 18% of those who bought a Vita in the UK bought FIFA with it. Sounds like a very slow week.

But the money saved from downloading games on PSN and more will have to go to memory cards anyway. If I were buying a Vita I'd settle with a 4GB card and physical copies of games.
All things point to a slow week. If the Vita did well and sold 100k units, that still would only be 18k physical copies of FIFA.

But over time that $5 savings will add up especially as memory cards get cheaper. I use memory cards for music and video so I wanted a big one even if I don't buy games digitally. I was going to get ninja gaiden that way but sony support didn't know it was on psn already when I called them before buying vita. I didn't want to get home to find out ninja gaiden wasn't on psn."Sales not important" "I don't care about sales" "I can't play sales" "YES SONY IS WINNING!" I love how it goes any time Sony lays a sales smack down, however small.blue_hazy_basic
Well, it isa small retribution for all the crap that has been flung at the Vita.
