Hell yeah! I'm even more hyped for the game now :). Took some getting reacquainted to the controls, but man, is fun and so polished months before released. Co-op and competitive with upgrades and medals. No access to the "Cinema" feature though. Very slick and streamlined menus (like R2 is).
Honestly I can see myslef playing this as much as Gears 1. The hit detection is spot on, and its dynamic. The pace is perfect for the player count and maps sizes too. What makes is so fun is the platforming, stealth kills, and melee fights. You can hang on anything and shoot from it as well. Unpredictable as far as traversing.

How would anyone besides PS3 owners have an opinion on the beta? Well, non PS3 owners can watch footage. Still doesn't do the game justice though (like any game).

Day made. Are the hitboxes fine? As in, if I point a gun at someone's head at point blank range and hold down the trigger, will I get a headshot?
give it a day or two, it will get old fast, like GTA4 multiplayer (except Free Mode :P)HUH Uncharted feels so much better then GTA4. It does. The combat is much more polished. And GTA isn't as strategic as U2. Still I find GTA4 online to be fun.

You didn't have to pre-order the game, just buy it. The code is inside the front cover with the game manual, so if you have infamous then you have a beta code. Game is great and I actually enjoy the multiplayer more than I thought I would TBH. Work well and I loved the first game so this is a must buy. I thought co_op was a no brainer but didn't think this kind of game needed an competative multiplayer, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how much I have enjoyed it.

Yeah, there are plenty of similarities. But U2 def. sets itself apart.

I was skeptical when I found out Uncharted 2 would have multiplayer. Im playing the beta and I must say it is very fun. I should have never doubted Naughty Dog.

I can just imagine how much fun the other levels in the game will be when the game gets released later on. Hopefully will have one level that focuses heavily on plat-forming, which makes U2 so unique.
im playing it and i have to disagree its a good game, but its not special or contains any gameplay you cant find any place else, as for that im not being wowed in the least by the graphics in the multiplayer.
The beta is just fantastic, i hope sony released it to pc, or 360. No gamers should missed out on uncharted 2 masterpiece multiplayer. I haven't even tryed co-op yet, competition is just too addicitive, man, it's like playing a blizzard game, uncharted 2 beta is a disease.
Im in it, Its very fun and online is already working great which is rare for a beta.. Dont forget a co-op mission is included..many people over look this and only do the multiplayer
