Uncharted comes to PSP

...as PINBALL!

This probably wasn't what fans had in mind when they demanded an Uncharted game for Sony's handheld. A series of new ESRB ratings reveals a new pinball franchise, most likely under the PSP Minis label, based on various first-party PlayStation properties. Pinball Heroes: Uncharted is the most noteworthy of the bunch which according to the ESRB descriptor, is based on Drake's Fortune. "Players use flippers to hit the ball around a crashed airplane, into silhouetted character targets, and off bumpers shaped like gold coins to score points."

In addition to Uncharted, other franchises will be getting the pinball treatment, including High Velocity Bowling, PAIN and Hot Shots Golf.Joystiq

But that's not fun at all... we all know PSP has much much better graphics than the DS. We won't be able to claim graphics king here :(

OIh, and on a serious note:

Cool Beans and im glad. Games like Uncharted(and even GOW) should just stay on consoles. Putting them on handhelds just makes it a 1/4 of the console experience. But this actually sounds interesting.

If its half as good as Metroid Prime Pinball for the DS, then its a winner in my eyes.

PSP owners just got slapped in the face, punched in the gut, kicked in their "no-no's" and left to die. :P

Then again, who doesn't like a good game of pinball?

I highly doubt they are involved, if at all.

Naughty Dog is a SONY company, a 1st Party developer. Sony can do whatever they want with UNCHARTED.

Much like Metroid Prime Pinball, which didn't involve RETRO at all. Metroid is a Nintendo property.
