uncharted grafix destroys all console games 2 date (no 56k)

Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and Ratch and Clank Future really puts other games in their place graphics wise.

Yep Uncharted is clearly the best looking console game, i made a similar topic already some months ago and people where laughing at me, but what now that the graphics have been even improved suddenly people saying the same as i did before.

No not even Gears.

Gears has very small and tight levels compared to Uncharted, character models are looking better in Uncharted, so are all the animations, shadows and lightning.

I you noticed Gears also has dead environments no wonder that it can look good, the only thing that are moving are some bushes which are 2D and more or less in the background, but in Uncharted everything is moving from grass, trees, leafs, everything even the clothes of Drake are moving.

Gears maybe has a bit better textures, but thats not confirmed yet, i still have to see Uncharted running on my PS3, because pictures and videos never do justice, even Gears textures looks ugly on many pictures but Uncharteds is technical doing alot more then Gears, Gears is way overhyped graphical, if you look a bit deeper then you can see that it's lacking in many areas.

Nope not evne ME stands a chance against Uncharted it looks nice but not on Uncharted level.

ME has lame animations compared to Uncharted and the facial animations are very fake compared to Uncharted, the enivronments are not better looking then in Gears, they look very empty and borring and so does the whole Unreal engine it's overused, too many games are using it and it's getting really annoying.

Mass Effect just destroy it.

uncharted has great animations but the textures and object models are absolutely inconsistent, it looks great in some areas and crap in others... it's gonna be a flop, trust me. quote me if you like. Mass Effect will destroy it with it's 50 hour campaign and engrossing story -- it's like the original star wars series vs. a tomb raider movie with Chris Crocker as the Lara Croft :P

what are you talking about? The characters look kind of strange in uncharted, with weird shadow effects. Some of the textures look great, while other look meh. Now the gameplay, its actually starting to look very good.

What bad facial animation! thats why it was rate 9.75 and says every part of ingame looks liek a cut sence from a cgi final fantasy movie.

Stop mentioning multiplats because the 360 has the same games and the majority of them will be better on the 360 or PC, plus the 360 is cheaper. On top of that, the 360 has much better high profile exclusives this holiday bar none. Now go back to the field.

Uncharted will be a great game all the way, this will be some fantastic 12h but ME can be 100h long and won't be that great because 80% of the time it will be borring and empty.

It is made by Naughty Dog and I believe they only make PS games. It looks great, but so did HS and I beat that in 6 hours and haven't touched it since. Will this be another 6 hour game? That is all the PS3 seems to be putting out lately. I hope it is at least 15 to 20 hours. Only thenwill Iconsider buying it.

don't tell me what i've seen. i go to game dev conferences for my job, i've seen uncharted in motion live... 3 feet in front of my face. it might look pretty, but like Heavenly Sword, and Lair - it's not going to live up to hype, sorry. it is far too short, it has no lasting replay value or appeal, no multi, no co-op, no vs.

trust me, reviewers might give it some good points, but this WILL NOT score AAA because it's trying to fight with one hand tied behind its back -- lasting appeal and replay value are huge factors when reviewing a game.

Mass Effect will beat it.

seriously, lol. it's like watching a ship sink, all the cows just desperately swim to the last remaining thing that's still floating, in the summer it was heavenly sword and lair, now it's uncharted.

the only game that has a chance at AAA for the PS3 this holiday (exclusive that is) is Ratchet. truth.

too bad most cows look for graphics and ignore games that obviously have superior gameplay and replay value, like Ratchet.

Then tell me please why is 1up so impresed by Uncharted, they said that the visuals are stunning so is the gameplay, they also said it's an AAA contender and could be a system seller as Gears and Halo 3 are on Xbox 360.
