is uncharted the last hope for the ps3 on getting an AAA exclusive this year?

best looking game coming out for consoles this gen so far, if the gameplay lives up to the hype the game might make it.

Even if it were on the 360, I'd say it was unimpressive. Take the second shot for example; look at the shirt, the strap, the ground, the foliage. All of the textures are muddy. The whole thing just looks washed-out.

I dont think they have been bad with ps3 games, except Ratchet & Clank. Possibly underated Folklore, but its arguable Folklore isnt for everyone.

lol, really if someone should bash a ps3 game. They should be bashing Little Big Planet or Killzone 2 for showing nothing but uninteresting gameplay so far. Uncharted on the other hand looks like a very solid game.

No Achievements are great because they have been there along and provide you with a great history of your gaming explotis with the system. The Rewards thing is a tacked on rip off.

Ugh, weve had this argument before....Uncharted DOES look better then anything on the 360, the cutscenes are some of the best, the character facial expressions are some of the best, animations are definitly top notch, really nothing looks better then Uncharted, period...whoops I meant to say nothing on a CONSOLE looks better then Uncharted.

if anyone thinks the textures are bad (especially the clothing on characters) its because theyre too used to stupid UE3 games where EVERYTHING and their grandma reflects light like clothing and pretty much yeah everything is shiny blues3531

That's because everything in Uncharted is hand painted which is impressive.

eh bioshock is a great looking game but uncharted looks better in like every aspect. cod4 has amazing lighting and shadows (really impressive) but the texture work is bad so no to that one. mass effect im still not sure til im playing it ive seen good and bad and mario galaxy being all art is an argument because i happen to think it looks better than a ton of 360 and ps3 games even including things like textures
