Uncharted Voice Actress Hints At Uncharted 3 via Twitter

Given that ND works on a 2 year dev cycle, a Fall 2011 release would be anything but surprising

Actually Batman 2 was revealed at the last Spike TV awards, so I guess we need to look out this year too?

its pretty clear that ND is working on Uncharted 3. Its probably going to be released Fall 2011, only adding to the PS3's unbelievable 2011 excluisve lineup. Nonstop-Madness

I don't think it's coming next year, but I'd be happy if I'm wrong. Uncharted 2 was amazing, a third game would be great.

I don't think they would release it this year but Next year is a big possibility.

Just thowing this out there, Nolan North did the same thing earlier this year. If I remember, he said something on his twitter account as well about "going in to work on more uncharted" or something along those lines. I think he also posted something about an "uncharted 2 sequel" on his LindedIn profile or something like that. (or whatever that profile is that developers use).

Also, it was reported at E3 that aSony rep was heard comming out of a screening room saying to another developer "Wow, Uncharted 3 looks amazing"

We all know a third Uncharted is in the works but could it possibly be at the point where a developer is already raving about it?

According to PS3Hype, Jan Meijroos, "the most famous game journalist of the Netherlands," overheard something at E3 while wandering the back corridors of the show. Evidently, a developer or designer was heard to say quite literally: "Uncharted 3 looks amazing!" Now, this could very easily have been a slip of the tongue, and it was just some dude talking about last year's Uncharted 2, which does indeed look "amazing." Or, he could've been talking about another game and used the wrong title...or, nobody ever said any such thing. But Meijroos posted the words on his Twitter page so either he's lying or he heard wrong, or there's a chance that Uncharted 3 really is chugging right along. Of course, it's far too early for Sony to unveil the game so it hardly wasn't surprising that it wasn't in their press conference, but we fully expect it to make a big splash at next year's show.

We initially want to call this bogus - far too many iffy factors - but sequels really are coming faster these days, even for big-budget projects. Look at Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, for instance. ACII just came out last November and exactly one year from that date, the next entry will be here. You never know.

So yea. I dont think there is any doubt that Uncharted 3 is comming out next fall. i think the reveal will prolly be at the Spike TV video game awards in december.

Nolan "Can't Say No" North said so himself awhile ago- he even said that it might not stop with 3. :D

HAHA, i been watching Haven for a few months and kept thinking "i heard that voice before". Its Elena from Uncharted wow i felt dumb when i read the first post this topic.

Think its pretty much a given that Uncharted 3 is in the works - I'm just not sure what they can add to it to make it better, the second one got creamed over by gamers and journo's alike.

They were basically open to listen to any kind of ides regarding gameplay, single player, the multiplayer components, etc.
They even made a forum only for this type of purposes. Threads got replies from 7,000 posts and over.

After seeing the events of Drake's Fortune & Among Thieves there were ideas of implementing a Zombie Mode or Yeti Mode for the MP area or a Torunament. Other ideas were the use of Vehicles, New weapons, able to customize clothes and voice dailogues rather than relying on DLC to get new skins, destructible environments, etc.

They recently updated the leveling system after a 1,000 post thread regarding the leveling system and they extended the leveling to 80. I'm currently on level 49 and now it takes months to get to lvl 80.

So its pretty nice that they are even listening to ideas ofthe MP area of UC2 from the fans. And they have definetly been taking notes and seeing what could work and how it could work.

Anyway, do they plan to fix the MP "sync live data" thing? It feels annoying to wait 20 min to be able to play after a month not touching the game. Even worse if you dl'd a patch just before that. :evil: I don't know why they went for this design tbh.
