Honestly, Dom in that picture almost made me throw up. That picture makes Gears 2 look like a last gen game. Hes whole beard looks like a big jaggie.

Yes but are you really going to play like that, with a close up of dom in your face???? No ofcourse not, it's obvious that epic decided that the faces ingame aren't that important seeing as how you don't really see them upclose like that. They decided that graphical power can rather be used for the environment and the enemies which you will see up close a lot. Naughty dog obviously sees this in another perspective.

I have played Gears 2. Its definately a good looking game. Those pictures make it look like crap though.

I'm sick of people ignoring off screen pics. I mean you're playing the game in front of your tv as well, so it's the perfect way to represent what you are actually seeing. I even zoomed in with my camera so it's not 'enhanced' .

That's because of all the Blur caused by the TV and the Camera.
It's tough to see jaggies when they're blurred out.

Playing on an SDTV? I ask because the lack of detail looks as such. That, or using composite cables. Just saying. Don't take this as having an agenda and defending Gears though, I think Uncharted looks better.
