Uncharted vs Gears of war 2 (Graphics)

Console graphical comparison threads are always fun, the reason being in the majority of cases consoles cannot take screenshots.

Not this again. It's well established that Gears 2 took the console gfx king title from MGS4, and only months later was surpassed by Killzone 2. Whether KZ2 will be replaced by Uncharted 2 is a whole different discussion.

This is true. Most Gears2 reviews said it was the best looking game on consoles. At least for about 3 monthes

because i feel its a much better representative of the best graphics on the 360 over Gears 2 and I wanted to point out that if you want to say that the 360 has better games then Uncharted (with gfx) then at least post screens of a game that actually does have close if not as good or better graphics.

almost wanted to post a crysis pic because one usually gets posted on 1st or 2nd page :P

anyways I like Uncharted's colors more but GoW 2 looks better imo.

lol...alot of gears bullshots being showed.....i dont think the first uncharted looks better then gears 2 but its really close. Uncharted 1 looks better then gears 1 tho no doubt....

Uncharted 2 > Gears Of War 2 > Gears Of War = Uncharted.

Uncharted does look better

Uncharted 2 is even better than Uncharted 1.

These two games are really hard to compare actually, Gears 2 went for very detailed enviroments which look so from the playing distance, but when you zoom in as such it's ugly... So Gears should always have its shots taken from the in-game camera.

While Uncharted dosen't take as many risks with its graphics (Which has changed in the second I must add) everything is very smooth as you can see on the first shot no effort has been taken to include pores and such while gears did. So Uncharted looks good from any distance.

Neither of the games mean that much to me so I can honestly say without Bias at all that Gears looks better from the original camera which you play in, not some 400x zoomed in picture. While Uncharted looks alot better closer up while also looking amazing from the norm aswell. So in conclusion as a game being played Gears 2 looks better, when used for fanboy babble Uncharted looks better.

i really find it hard to say which looks better when discussing Uncharted & Geow2.. both look great... however i have no problems seeing that Uncharted2 looks much better than both games..
