The graphics are breath-taking, yes, give Crysis a run for its money.

This game is officially hyped AA. But if that doesn't /endthread right there, let me continue.

Naughty Dog is known for making top-notch games with well-made gameplay.

Haven't you heard them speak on the "three pillars of gameplay"? If the platforming sucks, there's the gunplay and puzzle elements. If the other two suck, there's platforming. They have experience in all three elements...and they've been around since...well, a long damn time.

It's totally unreasonable to look down on this game when it comes from a pedigree like that. The game is AA hype, ****

Why must a title include multiplayer to be considered of worth? Are Lucasarts adventure games any worse for being single player affairs? Would Tomb Raider, a game Uncharted apes so, be improved with a multiplayer aspect? If anything the experiance would be cheapened by it.

BioShock, the lemming's golden goose, is a 12 hr game with no multiplayer, and it's a shooter.

I think it's hilarious how people will gobble up unoriginal shooters ad infinitum but when someone attempts to make only the second game in this particular genre (unless you count Pitfall) it's somehow one too many.

Once again, what did Halo bring to the table that was new? Don't even start with TEH FORGE AND TEH REPLAYS. Don't attack games for lacking innovation unless you're prepared to look in your own camp and accept that 99% of games have "been done before".
