I guess Lair. It is actually a fun game and looks pretty (or looked pretty, been a while since I have played it).

MAG, Alan Wake, Haze, and Gran Turismo 5

From that list I would say Banjo Kazooie, sure its a lot different from the orignal N64 banjo games, but its great game regardless and worthy of having the Banjo Kazooie name imo.

Sonic Adventure gets some hate. Don't know why as i'm playing it right now, and its almost perfect.

I don't give a **** about its newer failed games though.

Barbies playland actually has quite an in depth and complex emotional story, along with some riveting graphical vistas. Theres also a very cool combo system when you make her put make up on that is easy to understand but hard to master. Second in mechanics only to Starcraft 2.alextherussian

eh i was pretty mcuh a staunch gt fan until 5 and was dissapointed.

Poor design choices,online broken at launch which was absolutely laughable,the standard car debacle,some tracks were literally uprezd ps2 models..All the 6 year dev time showed was they had a badass physics engine and nothing else.It was too much quantity in areas and not enough quality tbh.

I'm with you on this one. There are far too many blue shells appearing in MK DS.

I'll go with MAG... It tried something different at the time(inb4 PC had large teams) when everyone else went for linear short storylines atleast Sony tried to do something different and go with a pure online highly team based game, definitely not what most console FPS players think of when they heard the words "first person shooter", they think of run and gun, laserlike bullets and fast paced gameplay and a story that if you blink you'll miss. Was a nice change i guess and cannot wait for MAG2.JohnF111

I agree with you here. MAG was ambitious, and though it had flaws, it was still a brilliant game. Also, has a MAG 2 been announced or were you just hoping for a second one?

I never understood the hate for Fable 2 or Call of Duty 3. Fable 2 was extremely immersive, its only downfall being how short it was (a downfall made an even larger one because the game was so damn fun), whereas Fable 3 generally gets praised more, but was oh, so much worse in nearly every way. As for Call of Duty 3, well Treyarch crafted an awesome SP that granted, could have been an expansion to CoD2 but really upped the ante in the graphics department (plus I think its safe to say that the recent CoDs could have just been expansions to their predecessors). The multiplayer was incredible, and brought more change to the series than any other entry save for CoD4. 24 players, huge, intricate maps, awesome objective based gametypes (where is my War mode Black Ops??? Oh wait, the maps are all junior sized *sad face*), and loads of vehicles (obtained by finding one and getting in, not by camping for killstreaks) provided for the first and only time thus far, a CoD game that had a semblance of realism. It felt like a Battlefield game with CoD shooting mechanics, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for much more.

agree on fable 2, had so much fun with that game, moreso than fable 3.... when fable 2 was out i had my friend camping out at my apartment hogging my xbox to the point where i had to kick him off the thing.... he ended up sleeping during the day so he could play all night long when i was in bed :lol:

We both were massively addicted to that game while it lasted, but i agree... it was too short.

Every game gets hated on cause for 1 they are all overhyped for 2-5 years and then when released they underwhelm...2 people hate Wii games cause its not HD nexgen...3 people hate 360 games cause its MS,cost to play,and RROD...4 people hate SONY games cause SONY is for some reason SATAN this gen...5 people always hate on PC games for expensive upgrades,hacks,cheats,m/k

So if you are like me and sit back and read on these forums you would simply give up and find a new hobby cause everyone hates everything about gaming this gen...

Heck I have nearly 20 consoles and around 1400 games sitting in my house right now and I cant for the life of me even find the energy to play any of them cause I have so much disgust this gen from all the complaining... to all my 360 problems... to lil foul mouthed kids on LIVE..Its nearly ruined what use to be a great past time and LIFE for me..

I think we need another good hard crash like in the 80s to make everyone shut up and appreciate what they have...THEN see where things go.
