IGN-Unfortunately. Rockstar was unable to provide us with a copy of the PS3 edition of Red Dead Redemption early and so we've had to delay that review until we get a chance to take it for a spin.

Sounds like rockstar doesnt want IGN blowing the lid on the Sub-HD graphics no AA and all around sloppy port.

I'm more concerned with whether the game will suck, as GTA IV did, than I am about resolution.

Well, the reviews on Metacritic have all been very very solid. Glad this is the first game I've bothered preordering.

I think the PS3 version will be better, the Cell is more powerful and Blu-ray so texture's don't need to be compressed for such a big game, the got this game on DVD 9 and IGN say it's one of the best looking games made, so it has to run better on PS3.

The 360 can't have a better version if the game is the new graphic's king, just look at the scope of the game it's vast and truly epic, how a game like GOW 3 gets called epic in scope I'll never know.

No it isn't :roll:, a 5 to 10 min install often times making the PS3 slightly faster then the Xbox360 versiong ames that don't install.. (Like Borderlands, intil you decide to install it.. Honestly I don't know how you would survive with out a microwave if you can't wait 5 to 10 minutes.

fanboys in this thread are the ones who are making a big deal about this. You will basically get the same exact enjoy and the quality of the game Rockstar has produced will be evident on both versions. Why waste time arguing?
