Unreal Tournament Out For The Playstation 3!!

I personally dont like it.

I dont like the look of the guns and thefast pace of the game... I dont even like the graphics.

Is there something wrong with me?

If I had a dope PC I would buy it for that but I don't so I'll just rent it for the PS3 and buy it when it comes out for the 360.

Cows biggest complaint against the 360 is that all their games are on PC. So why are they getting excited for UT3 for PS3? Shouldn't they be buying it for their gaming PCs instead? :roll:Blue-Sky

I love all the "ps3 has mods" stuff from cows when they say everything is best on PC for any 360/PC game so why are they not buying it for PC then?

Game already out + review not up yet= review not too favourable

I actually would get this on the PC, but my power supply blew up and one of my ram sticks is fried, so i have to wait for them to be replaced.

Yes, I'm going to buy the inferior PS3 version, even though I have a monster gaming PC that I use to play BioShock, Gears of War, and in a few months, Mass Effect and Halo 3 :)

yeah...i guess so. I guess people also assume that games such as Bioshock can only be played in MAX settings mode. They obviously dont realize that Bioshock on medium - low settings does not need a beastly Crysis ready computer :?

I will tell you why its being asked. It is because PS3 fanboys constantly discount awesome 360 games when it can be found on PC. I never understood how it helps PS3 fanboys because a 360 game is on PC unless they have a gaming PC. I for one have been down that road and I refuse to build a gaming PC to play games like UT3, Crysis, STALKER, etc and waste my money. I will just wait and play them on 360 when they come out.

The same can be said about the X360 fanboys who bring used to bring up topics (before HD-DVD was crushed by Blu-Ray) about HD-DVD outselling BR or about Paramount HD-DVD exclusivity. How does that help the X360? Easy, the PS3 has a Blu-Ray player, and if HD-DVD wins, that means the people who would buy a PS3 for the movie playing capabilites too, would no longer do so. So it helps Microsoft by hurting the competition. So how does a game being on PC help PS3? Lets say Mr.X, a hardcore PC gamer, heard about Gears of War and really wants to play it. Infact he is considering buying an X360 for GeoW. But oh wait! Its been announced for PC too! Mr.X would rather just get GeoW for $30-$50 on PC than spend $300ish dollars on an X360, $60 on the game and %50 for XBl to enjoy it online. So Sony and Nintendo Benefit from this because its one more customer not buying an Xbox 360.

They dont discount awsome 360 games, they just bring up the PC when MS fans try to rub in the fact that its not on the PS3. Some MS fans forget that it can be played on another machine other then a 360. And again you are assuming all people here who post in this thread are "cows" who claimed they had a monster PC. Maybe they do but prefer to take advantage of their PS3 and big screen TV.

Either way all this damage control is unnecessary seeing as this is not a thread trying to bash the 360 for not having the game at the time but mearly a thread asking who is gonna buy this game. No need for bashing, save it fora Sony fanboy thread.

When the tables was turned the cows did the same thing, saying it is better on the PC. It just a non-ending cycle of bashing. Cows/Lems say that they will be playing the game that is only on the rival system and PC on their 'gaming PCs', then when a good game comes out for their system and the PC their gaming PC broke or something,

If I do get UT3 (UT2007, why is it called 3, it no the 3rd game, it is the 4th IIRC), I'll get it on the PC, my PC handeled the demo pretty well. But it seems to lost interest in the UT games.

I'll tell you why. Office chair vs comfy couch. 19" LCD vs 70" HDTV. That's why for me. Also I want to support Sony for being the first to allow MODS on consoles. That's a huge deal and I hope it's a trend we see continue.

I use my PS3. My PC second. My PC is usely used for RTS games and for the few games like Bioshock that aren't on PS3. I can't speak for everyone though that's just my personal preference. Yes I'm getting Unreal for PS3. :)

I would just like to point out that them saying "Best on PS3 because nobody is on the PC and the PS3 version has mods, but the 360 doesn't" is now moot because who is going to make the mods if nobody bought it for the PC? :(

The mods were ALWAYS dependent upon the PC version doing well... Since hardly anyone is playing it... Mods will be a long time coming... Just wanted to point this out....

yeah... Thing is, that makes the PS3's advantage over the 360 MUCH, MUCH smaller... If nobody is on the PC version, who is going to make mods? Cows seem to forget, their ENTIRE advantage was dependent upon the PC version succeeding and mods going straight into development... Now, that point is completely moot...
