Until Dawn Metacritic guesses?

As a fan of Heavy Rain and horror games, Im cautiously optimistic about this game. But it has had a long development, and was originally a MOVE game, which makes me think it will suck.

Gamespot- guess what the metascore will be. Im not too confident one way or another of how good/bad it will be.

I don't hope the game does bad or good by default, but if it's bad I hope it sell poorly and bombs, if it's good, the opposite. However it's an interactive cliche college horror movie and the chances are it's going to tank.

Him hoping that it does well is predicated on it being a PlayStation 4 game and nothing else, that's the reality here. He has no indication or point of reference one way or the other whether it's going to be a good or bad 'game', yet he's hoping it does well by default, that's stupid...

75-80 range. I enjoyed Heavy Rain, so this being a horror game makes it even better.

I have no idea how metacritic does its scores , but 70-88 mark , somewhere in between.

Almost willing to bet that it will be in the 60-70 range. B-Horror Movies aren't for everyone.

Also I want it to be good because I enjoy these types of games, Life is Strange is an absolute blast and I love visual novel type games, frankly I don't care which system it's on because I just wanna enjoy this type of game.

For the concept of the what the 'game' is, literally a movie with button prompts like some 2015 Sega CD bullshit, I hope it scores low. Things like this are a time tested cancer on the industry which have already been phased out for a reason, they're a conceptual product operating out of their era of technological limitations and relevance, that being the early and mid 90's.

I'm not talking about it as an actual product, I'm speaking of the quality within, as an entertainment product, if it's good I hope it does do well and if it's bad I hope it eats complete shit, however that is on the basis of it as a piece of entertainment. Conceptually though like I already said, this shitty out of date type of 'game' should be dragged out of the video game industry kicking and screaming.

Well I like these "shitty out of date" games, unlike crap like Halo, Killzone, Gears and Fable they keep me interested throughout the whole experience and never bore me.

So don't you tell me I'm not allowed to want a game to do well or what to like and not like.

Frankly I'll take an entirely new IP with hundreds of possibilities than another broken Halo at launch or a remake of the only good game in the series.

I picked up the game yesterday, it's a good game and definitely a Heavy Rain clone. It's a nice change of pace from the other games that's going to come out this holiday.

This is a hobby, a past time we all love and enjoy, it's just gaming, don't see the point of all the bickering. I really don't know, the store I use sells Fifa, CoD and every annual game early.

Hell when I bought TWEWY back in 2010 they were releasing the yearly CoD early and have a massive line out the store, it was insane and the best part was that the police didn't even take notice.

That's just crazy, I think if Sony and Microsoft got wind of this type of thing there would be some serious legal ramifications.

Mom and pop stores have no release dates lol. When they get the game, they sell it. I had it since yesterday.

I got Uncharted 3 a whopping 3 weeks early cause of them, hell I platinumed it 2 weeks before it even launched.

So I could do the same for Halo 5 and RoTR if I wished and the best part is, the games are cheaper there than in other stores.

My friend from America gets EXTREMELY butthurt whenever I buy the new Pokémon or MH games and taunt him jokingly to the point where he threatens to tell MS and Sony.

The thing that really surprises me is that they don't have flags in their systems setup so the games cannot be launched prior to the release dates unless individually authorized such as for reviews etc.

I dunno how they do it but I sure as hell ain't complaining, they've been doing it for 7 years now and are still going strong.

I think the game will turn out to be alright... but I don't think it will be anywhere near as good as people think it will. The game sounds good on paper. Who doesn't want a teens slasher film from the 80s and early 90s? They're fucking awesome! But I don't by the hype with all the fluid choices and how they effect gameplay. I've played The Walking Dead, Mass Effect, Heavy Rain, TES, ect. Choices in my games do little other than guide me along a preordained path, with little freedom. I enjoy just sitting back and absorbing the story in front of me. We simply aren't there yet to experience an open-ended game with choices. and Supermassive Games?? Wow, what have they worked on before, a couple of bargain bin PS Move titles?--That's the biggest delusion people are having. These guys are going to make a super duper game? that doesn't happen all the time.

Again, I think the game will turn out alright, but nothing more than that. If I had to give a score, I would give a 78, 79 on metacritic.
