I'm just wondering.

How come people sell there PS3's on Craiglist or EBAY for almost exactly what you could buy a new one for.

I'm not talking about the backwards compatible ones which are desirable.

I see lots of PS3's for sale for 375 used. You can get a new one for 399. I'd assume the warranty either doesn't carry over or has expired on many of these. Its been ages since the PS3 has been hard to find here in Colorado.

Any reason why people would buy a Used PS3 to save like 25 bucks? Taxes maybe? Shipping?

I was wondering the same thing. Then I went to a local pawn shop and found an original 60 gig for $300! :D It looks great next to my 360.

The latest OPM shows it best they ACTUALLY had to put together a margin table area to show you ALLL the different versions o fthe ps3 and their differences 20 gig and 60 gig ps3's the rarest are on ebay now going for 600-800+

Sony's Sku system was the most complicated and costly of them all specially when you learn your new PS3 cant play ps2 games but the old ones could.
