UT 3 on PS3 > Halo 3 in terms of Originality and Graphics - Video Inside

I must say, I'm very impressed with what Epic has done with UT 3 on PS3. Runs extremely smooth, Looks very nice, and there's so much you can do. Seems like a fresh multiplayer and graphical experience, unlike Halo 3, which although fun, is same old.

There's lots of new stuff in Halo 3.

Quit trolling. UT3 on PS3 will be **** compared to the PC version anyway, which I assume you can run just fine with the specs in your sig. So why are you promoting the PS3 version?

the PC version might be a little better but in overall skills, PC players can't step up against console players.

by the time this comes out, the first person that diesin the game isn't the one on the mouse and kb on a PS3, but the one on the PC.

I don´t see the excitement for UT3. It looks like UT2003 with better graphics. Played it before, was bored of it before.

So us lemmings get Halo3 with a good single player and multiplayer game which will be down to personal preference if you like it better than UT3 multiplayer, plus we also get said UT3. It's then down to controls, I like feedback and controlling movement with analogue, so I love being a 360 owner.

And again it's normal your pc stomps the specs of the ps3 but the pc version of UT3 won't stomp UT3 ps3 in many way possible.

you're comparing an upgradable system to a non-upgradable system of course it'll have better specs.

if the PS3 were an upgradable system, then yeah, it has the specs to step up.

Why do pc tech noobs even try? Specially with links, our market is so varied and so diverse you can find bargins quite easily ^_^ Even halving the price without quality going down most times. Personally its a nice try, but next time find a site that isn't amazon cause they sure as hell don't list everything.

Oh and that processor is the top of the market you nut job, coarse its going to be the most expensive you can get something that does a near close attempt for 400$ and run the same in nearly every modern pc game. And our parts drop in pricing every

3 months ^_^ So again we get quite a better deal in pricing and parts cause theres so much compeition in the market, whilst we have good equipment that last 3years in pc gaming ^_^ You guys have the same stuff for close to 7-10years whilst by the time your next console comes out we can buy the cheapest pc parts on the market to steam role it in performance :D

New vehicles are cool and all...but Halo is adding that Forge thing, 4-player online co-op, video sharing, etc, etc, etc.

Maybe I need to see some more UT footage, but to say it is doing more "Originality" that Halo 3 is...I just can't support that at all right now.

Sad thing is that I know I would have much more fun playing UT3 on my PC than I ever could playing Halo 3 on my 360. That video was very cool and if the PS3 version looks that good I can't wait to see this running everything maxed @ 1920x1080p 16xAA 16xAF DX10 on my machine. It should be incredible! I am VERY excited to see UT3. This is a very exciting year for PC gamers.

Halo 3 has more features this time around, but for me UT3 looks waaaay cooler and fun as hell. The only downfall (and a big one at that) is no split screen co-op :(

Plus I'd rather have mutators and mods than the new forge mode in Halo. Maybe there's an original new feature for UT3 that Epic hasn't released yet :).

Its a pretty shady comparison. UT is basically the PC's best deathmatch shooter, and focus's on that solely. Halo offers both a meaningful campaign and multiplayer, which really is what makes it so unique: a great offline and online experience in one package. UT is obviously better online, but i'd bet dollars to donuts Halo still delivers a better single player experience.

i think it depends on the platform

for pc, i'm sure UT is great. but if you remember, UC was played a lot on xbox live until halo2 came out, and it was all but forgotten.

gamers go where the fun is; and in this case it appears the fun was with halo2 over UC.
