Valkyria Chronicle. First Review = 10/10 and Legendary

Wait. What! Lemmings stare at the thread title in disbelief. Another PS3 exclusive scored a 10/10! "Its not Gamespot who cares!". PS3's holiday line up is starting to look pretty damn good. From a non biased reviewer too (Think Fable 2 got 9.5 from OXM).

BTW heres there criteria for a "legendary" rating.

10 - Legendary. This is almost impossible to obtain. This kind of game only comes around once in a great while. It may even be a couple of years between releases of games like this.

I've been following Valkyria Chronicles for a while now, I think it got like an 8.8 from some other JRPG website (they imported it)

Anyway great score, but I still don't expect this to do well. Remember Too Human got 8's and 9's in the early reviews, so lets not get too excited.

Yeah, if you create a European PSN account you can download a demo for the game, or by paying for qore(screw paying to try a demo though)

This not RFOM 2, MotorStorm 2, and Killzone 2 should have been the game Sony fans were hyping. I can't wait to play that game.

WOW a 10, when I first saw this game I was like cool I might get. After seeing some game play I was like nevermined and tought this game would get 7. I'm really surprise becuz I heard it didnt do so well in japan (I dont know it if didnt good in japan becuz it didnt live up to he hype or that it didnt sale well)RTUUMM

It did as well as many unknown franchises do in the RPG genre in Japan. It had great sales for a non FF-DQ RPG actually

They also gave Mass Effect a 10/10. I am looking forward to VC (But going to wait to pick it up, already have too many games to play) But here on System wars only Gamespot reviews count and I don't see Valkyria Chronicles getting over a 8.5. I think it would get 7-8.5 strategy role-playing game don't really get alot of love form reviewers.

RPGFan gave it 88%, only 1% higher than Disgaea 3 which got a 7.5 here. I'm thinking this game will probably get AA here, but AAA is still possible.SolidGame_basic
