Valkyrie Profile 3 coming exclusively to PS3??

Well not sure if anyone remembers but a couple of months ago poeple were saying that Square Enix was set to annouce Valkyrie Profile 3 for Xbox 360 but this might have been only a mistake from those who reported it. Just recently with the last PSM3 teaser stating a Top Secret World Exclusive for PS3 is set to be revealed in 2 weeks before E3 the site who reported about the game going to 360 have changed their way and now saying Square Enix will release it on PlayStation 3!. this could be a rumor for now but what could this Top secret Exclusive be??

this would be great news to me if this were true. I love the series.

Well, Tri Ace's last game was well liked so I have faith in them. If it's PS3 exclusive, well, I guess I have more reason to eventually buy a PS3.

"World exclusive" usually means that the publication has the exclusive announcement, as in, no other publication can announce this news until they announce it. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a PS3 exclusive, but since PSM3 is announcing it, we def. know it's a game on PS3 :).

I guess, we'll have to wait and see what's up.

I don't mind if it goes to both consoles but might have to check it out if it's an excusive or not.

For the record, I would be ecstatic for a Valkyrie Profile 3.

We'll wait and see what it is. SquareEnix is going to be making games for all 3 platforms now. Some will be exclusive on PS3, some on XBox 360, some on the Wii and others on the DS and PSP. I expect they will have something for everyone at the E3.

I doubt if any game from Square will go 360 exclusive anymore seeing how well their first JRPG have done on PS3. even SO4 is still going strong despite the bad talk about that game

Star Ocean 4 bombed on the PS3. Not because of the PS3 though. The game just turned fans off.

Star Ocean 4 bombed on the PS3. Not because of the PS3 though. The game just turned fans off.

Not sure how well it did in NA but i hope it did well tho your right, it was already late and im not surprised that fans didnt want it. i got the game but havent played it yet tho im sure it did well in Japan, i kept seeing it on the charts

Oh god no! :P i really hope they dont ruin FF versus . just keep it exclusive or at least timed lol..i want the game to be perfect and not forced to go down because of the limitaion of the other console

Original Valkyrie Profile for PS was a great game. Here holding my fingers crossed that this sequal comes exclusively to ps3 :) . These days exclusivity is a very good thing as it usually means a higher quality game because the developers don't have to waste time on testing for other platforms.

Meh, jrpg's are dead. I'd takeFallout New Vegas and Fable 3 over Final Fantasy 13 any day.

As long as it will be a HD consoles or at least a home console JRPG Iam happy im tired of Handhelds JRPGs.

It would be great if was VP3, but it would be even better if it was asequel toThe Legend of Dragoon.

As much as the PS3 needs new JRPGs, the 2nd one was pretty bad imo. I couldn't bring myself to complete it and I doubt I'm going to be tempted to invest in a new title.
