Valve is the best developer that has ever lived... and is still living

I just got the orange box for my PC. TF2 is one of the the best if not the best multiplayer game ever. Half-life 2 and the episodes are amazing as well. I look at the prices on steam and all the stuff for the orange box comes out to $84. They charge $30. On steam they have the valve complete pack which includes the newly resealed Left 4 Dead. Its price altogether is $239... They charge $99. With some of the best deals known to man and the best games known to man they are truly the best developer that has ever lived... And is still living.

Their games are all lacking a lot of depth. They're overglorified for what they do, but are still excellent developers.

I must say, the begining for me was pretty lame too, and the objective of where I was supposed to go didn't feel clearly laid out. But after I actually got further into the game, I realized how awesome it really is. I got truly addicted to all the HL2 games, and made me realize why they are among one of the best FPS's ever.

It's popular to love Valve, and to bash Blizzard these days, but because I dislike the FPS genre, I vote Blizzard for this title.

Reason I like valve is that they actively listen and care for their customers. You find great deals, listening to feedback on the forums, free updates all at once.

I never said that Blizzard was bad... EA is bad in the areas i talked about though. But Valve is the best.

I think Team Fortress 2 is more fun than Halo 3 but I think Bungie is the better developer. They really care about their fans. It's borderline creepy how much they care.

They're fun little games, but nothing mind blowing.

Valve is definitely a top developer in terms of creating a succesful a game/series. Saying they are the best is subjective since different genres and styles of games appeal to different people.

will i do agree they're one of the better devs i'd prefer they stick to PC only for their big games cause it's clear that valve only focus most of the time hell even orange box and L4D on 360 don't really stack up to it's 360 counterparts i hope after this EP3 is done they ditch the that plan cause i'd rather wait 5 or 6 years for a full game rather than a new short episode ever 2 years

They are go at making fps and portal, but that is about it. They don't make anything not in first person.
