Here is an image from Portal which one gamer thinks is Valve's way of having a cheeky joke at Microsoft's expense in regards to widely documented Xbox 360 overheating problems. The image shows something which looks similar (not identical) to the innards of the Xbox 360 with a saucepan on top of it.

That looks more like a stripped down PC than a 360. I guess it kinda resembles the HD-DVD player, though.

Copy-paste the picture's URL into your browser, hit enter. Then it'll bring up the logo again, but just hit refresh and it should show the pic.

Ok thanks, that worked. But the picture is very fuzzy(from 360 version). Gotta keep an eye out for that in the game to really see it for myself.

Its just a PC, and the pan is sitting on the CPU's HSF. And PCs have had just as much problems with overheating that the 360 has (see: Pentium 4 and Athlon XP). Luckily PC gamers have the ability to fix overheating before it becomes a problem.

I never had problems with overheating with my Athlon XP. It was OC'd, had tons of dust on and around the heatsink and was usually left on for days at a time. Btw, it was also in a mini tower.

Mine is the same way except I usually keep it in the oven on broil with an industrial strength hair dryer blowing directly on the heatsink.
