VanQuish got a 9 and many said meh!

I loved the demo and thought it would score great and many said the demo was meh, not so great. What, did I play a different demo what the heck people?!

Demo was great tho i may need to wait for a price drop. tons of psp games are coming out during the upcoming weeks not to mention black ops hadened edition.

People continuously post threads about VanQuish's review and I say, "well despite reviews to the contrary, I don't really see how this game can be held on such a pedestall with its inefficiant length, lack of any online multiplayer features and blad storyline. Multiplayer's a shooter's main replayable feature and without this, I can't see how it can hold up to the many other great shooters in my collection, and none of the reviews seem to adress this problem, so, with all do respect sit, meh!"

I agree, reviews hold little merit anyways.

A lot of games got a 9 or higher (Starcraft 2, Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, MW2) and people shrugged it off. Other games got a 10 (SMG2, GTAIV, MGS4) and people shrugged it off also. Someone liking or disliking a game has nothing to do with a review score. If someone does not see interest in a game for a valid reason, then the score would not matter regardless if the game is good or bad.

For me, I do not have any interest in Vanquish. I tried the demo and it was everything I believed I would dislike about it. I see the 9 it got on GS and I see the other scores it got on other websites, but those scores do not matter to me since I show no interest in the game. Review scores are a good indicator of a game, but it is also irrelevant at the same time.

Wow.... I'm just saying, why are there so much threads about VanQuish's review? Isn't that the whole point of the home page?
