It kind of just makes me proud to be passionate about video games. it's the kind of thing I could show other people and say "see? This is why I love video games."

That was cheesy as hell but such a massive improvement over the PS3's advertisements that I have to give them credit.

other than the white on white text there at the end it was pretty good commercial, though that song always makes me think of that whole overdose scene from Trainspotting, which is actually the reason anybody that knows about that song knows about it years after its original recording, and in the context it was used in the film it's a rather depressing song, and I've heard it argued that's why the song was used in Trainspotting in the first place, that it's about heroin, whether or not that's true it's definitely a melancholy kind of song they should have gone for maybe a more upbeat cover of it (if there even is one)

Removed from that context and instead put in the context of white dudes of a certain age demographic playing games together, the lyrics are quite jaunty.

I love when they do commercials like that. It's very cheesy i know, but it's so epic at the same time!

Great commercial and great song! As a PS and velvet underground/lou reed fan... I approve! Loved the elder scrolls intro, you could see the Imperial capital in the background, superb detail that hard core gamers would see.

Much better than the XB1 ad with a bunch of people jumping onto a couch watching NFL games on TV - you know, like how you can do anyway without an XB1 plugged into your TV.

ehh, it could have did without them singing (thats what made it cheesy) and made it more of a serious 1vs1 between them both.

The commercial is hilarious, but they didn't show any games or even the hardware. That's like having a car commercial and showing women knitting and talking about cars. I think consumers will be scratching their heads after seeing this commercial.

It's a commercial about the PS4 and PS4 games, without the PS4 and PS4 games. lol!! Seems like gamers are being hypnotized.

The XB1 commercial was about the NFL and that's what it showed. PS4 commercial was about the PS4 and it's games and it didn't show either. lol!!

Not like the XB1 commercial at all. XB1 commercial was about how the XB1 and Kinect could improve your NFL game day experience. Yes, the XB1 & Kinect are actually shown in the commercial. i believe the commercial debut during an NFL game.
